It was fun while it lasted, had tons of ups and downs but not bad nonetheless. Tons of pairings in the last chapter as well as the ending that we had come to expect.

Now just the movie to fill in the gap between the 699th and 700th chapter.

Sasuke was forgiven way too easily for all the times he's tried to KILL everyone. Just wander the woods for years like an armless hobo, and occasionally come back to bang Sakura.

Talking of which; I really wanted to like her, but Sakura's character arc comes full circle with her not only forgiving him for trying to kill her twice, but for still wanting to give birth to another Uchiha hell spawn that are genetically evil from their unstable emotional state. This was stated as the reason they turn into psychopaths. Way to doom the world again, Sakura. If Salad doesn't get together with Bolt, the world is ****ed.

Karui with Choji is the most random thing ever. At least the other pairings were semi hinted at, but that was sure left field.

The conclusion to searching for peace was...what exactly? Tenten just casually mentioning it's too peaceful for her shop to sell weapons these days? Glad it was that easy to create an era of peace.

Biggest surprise was Neji staying dead honestly. And Lee managed to spawn a child seemingly on his own. The things one can achieve through hard work never cease to amaze me.

I'm going to miss this series, I really am. Sure it wasn't consistent, but it was fun. It did set up a lot of what I really enjoy in a shounen manga like this. It's crazy how it's been 15 years since it started, that's more than half of my life right there. I followed it for 10 years though, so it's been a part of me for quite a portion of it.

I don't have too much nostalgia in Naruto since I started reading it only last year and that too cause all my friends were all rave about the anime (which has tons of filler!).

Although I guess I will miss it, checking for updates every week and waiting to see what happened next. Plus it has influenced my views on Shounen manga as it was one of the first manga I started reading. Not my favourite, but a memorable manga nonetheless.

Well, I enjoyed the ending more than expectations from the leaks. There were characters still missing that I want to see...like Ichiraku Ramen guy. He's been supporting Naruto since the beginning.

At first I didn't recognize Shino as the teacher...or is it a different Aburame character?

Salad makes me think of a Hinata with Sasuke's attitude...she's stalking Bolt, but her expressions are more like Sasuke's. Apparently she talks a bit like Sakura as well.

Shikadai is Shikamaru with Temari's eyes. Inojin's personality and looks come more from Sai, but with Ino's hair and eyes. No comment on Chouchou as her parents are the most random canon pairing I've seen...that I can recall. What happened to Anko during the time skip? She sure let herself go...

Can't tell if it's Rock Lee's son or student. When I first learned of the series, I thought Rock Lee was Gai's son. Poor Tenten...surprised no one just buys tools as souvenirs during peaceful times. Also, why are the treasures just sitting in her shop and not a museum or somewhere with more protection Is Kiba dating a cat lady?

Kakashi is looking a little more like his father. I'm surprised Mei never found a man. Tsunade made herself look younger.

Choujurou became Mizukage! Wonder if he's still one of the "7 Swordsmen" or if they abolished that due to him being the last official one becoming Mizukage. I also wonder who his adviser is since we know the other kages and their advisers.

While I may still disagree with some of the main pairings, and some were just out of nowhere, at least the best pairing happened...

Kind of sad I don't have much to say, this was one of the series that got me into manga. At least it didn't fall as far as Bleach has.

Looks like Shonen Jump is already looking for ways to continue it, unsurprisingly. I guess I'm not done with it yet.

Black Zetsu: She created chakra and is pretty much a god!
(Naruto and Sasuke are given the power to stop Kaguya from one of her sons)
(They fight across multiple dimensions, for some reason Kaguya has trouble killing them despite having access to a dimension of acid)
(Obito dies)
Naruto: Obito was a cool guy!
(The audience remembers the hundreds Obito killed, they all have horrid SAO flashbacks)
(Naruto and Sasuke win)
Sasuke: Before undoing the hypnotism, I will kill the Kages and the tailed beasts and become the dark side of justice. So I must kill you Naruto, because you are my friend.
Naruto: That's stupid, let's fight!
(Naruto wins)

Kishimoto made us read through a lot of drama about the zombies (A LOT OF DRAMA), then it all was solved with "we turned Kabuto into a vegetable!" and zombies simply vanished.

My only hope, going into the finale, is that Kishimoto actually uses The Last to build all of the ships we see in Ch. 700.

'Cause frankly, a lot of those ships felt like they were pulled from someone's posterior.

If Kishimoto can do ONE thing right, it's this.

I'm bracing for disappointment.

As weak as Part 2 was to Part 1, I liked it and thought the whole series was great. Even featured some nice scenes I was waiting for. But yeah, I think most of my complaints was the pacing in Part 2 along with parts of the ninja war.

Kishimoto pulled a Final Fantasy IV on us with those enemies. The Sasuke part was great imo. The Kaguya part, not so much.

So it has just been confirmed that there will be a new movie next summer between Bolt and Salad...I guess they decided Sasuke and Sakura would make a good pair so that they could pair up their daughter with Naruto's son...

Edit (1/12/15): Just had this thought. If Narutoverse can make new limbs using Hashirama's cells, why couldn't they make a new arm for Raikage?
