Need help on co-op event 21

This is the event where you choose your own characters, and then must fight all 35 characters in a row with no break and no healing items. The stage you must fight on is Battlefield. I can pretty much last a decent amount of time by myself, but it's my brother thats the problem. He just isn't... good. Does anyone have any tips for my brother or myself? Btw, we are doing this on hard.

If it will help, I usually use TL since he is my main, but my backups are Marth, Wolf, Ike, and Lucario. Would using any of my backups be better? And my brother always uses Peach. I figure its okay since I need him to use his final smash when the smash ball appears so we can heal a little bit.

Why are you doing it on hard I mean you don't earn anything if you beat it on hard (RIPOFF!) so why are you doing it on hard because you cant earn anything if you beat it on hard!

Just because its cooler. It nice to look at your events and they all have that little gold smash logo in the corner. It also makes me feel like I'm doing it the right way. In melee, all events had no difficulty setting. Just normal. But those all felt like as if they were set on "hard". Which is why I do all of my events on hard as well.

My friend and I beat it as Marth (myself) and Ike (my friend) on hard. All the advice I can give you is to work on avoiding the enemies and striking when you have a chance. If your brother isn't very good, keep them away from him and have him attack from behind when they're distracted. Peach's ground game isn't amazing, but her foward/backward aerial attacks, especially the fair, is good for KO'ing damaged opponents. Otherwise, have him use items from a distance to cause some minor damage while you work on KO'ing them. Best advice I can give is to stick to your strengths; if Toon Link is your best character, use him for sure.

ummm... It's really easy. get 2 snakes go on the top platform as soon as it starts and up smash over and over and over again. it kills them in one hit and they die instantly as they come out. If you miss once or twice just kill them the normal way. =)

You only need 1 Snake, and use his Down Smash on the top platform before they spawn... and repeat...

...yea...

The only character that dodges this is Metaknight, where you have to KO him normally.

Also always stay in the middle.

2 ganons top platform spam up smash. you win.

I did it with 1 Snake spamming usmash and a random character to pick off the ones that don't die

If you don't have a sibling and you're friends are busy...

Use one Pikachu. Stand under middle platform. Spam Thunder. Only about 5/35 will escape.

1)Use Ike
2)Spam your up and/or your forward smash.
3)The characters usually appear in one or two spots. Learn them and wait for them to appear and let them have it.
4)You or your friend can be whoever else they want to be

Me and my bro beat them easily with Ike.
