This is my first post so please no flames plawks. :)

Well, first of all, I've searched the forum and I haven't found anyone who has posted this yet and I'm sorry if this is already posted so delete this if the situation appears to be so. I was having a normal Brawl match; the usual 4 friends facing each other with 3 stock in a custom stage that a friend of mine created and it happened; I got knocked out of the stage and came back with a BIGGER Aura with Lucario then you would normally have when you are at 0%. I noticed that the B attack was MUCH larger in comparison to my normal one when I was at 0%. I asked my friend to see if it was just seeing things or what not. So I decided to put the "new discovery" to the test and this is what it shows.

First of all, to activate/gain the larger aura with Lucario, you must do the following (no certain order necessary):
- It cannot be on your first life/stock. You must at least die once before it can be activated.
- After you have activated, it will stay as a larger aura for the rest of the game.
- *Upside* The aura recharges every time you die.
- *Downside* Every time you use the B attack, the aura gets smaller.
- TO ACTIVATE THIS COMMAND, you must repeatedly press the D-pad Up arrow INSANELY fast.

*To test to see if your aura is bigger then usual, just press the B button and see if your charge is larger then usual.*

Try practicing a couple times before actually using it in battle. I find it not so use full after its been depleted after using it so many times but when you die and come back, everything is refreshed and the aura is as big as form the start.
It’s a useful trick using it to deal a couple more damage. Does about 7-12% more then what it would normally do at 0%.
You just have to find a good time to use it like when you are 1v1, try to knockback your opponent and then quickly activating it. Then charge and send them into the depths of OBLIVION!

Yeah well I hope this helps Brawlers who uses Lucario as a main.

Feedback and questions are welcome. :)

Jag förstår inte. Vad sa du?
Uh, yeah...you were behind on stock, weren't you? Whenever I fall behind on stock, I get an Aura bonus...it's just because you fell behind...that's why it doesn't work on the first stock...

At least your first post wasn't asking for help I guess >.<

Nice, I never noticed this but I doubt losing a stock to get a slight Aura Boost is worth the trade anyway ...

Well, does the aura boost decrease when they die? If not, you could rack up tons of damage on them, but not KO them, then when you eventually get KO'd, quickly KO them and use the aura boost to take the lead and keep it.

Well I doubt thats very smart cause If youre already at a % That you can die your gonna have a crazy amount of Aura anyway right? So why not just kill em and continue using your boosted Aura? Its a nice trick to know but not a very useful one

Well...look at this:
Standard way:
1.Fight until you're both at a high percent.
2.You KO him.
3.You do some damage, but then get KO'd. Now you're back to the standard, 0% aura again...

Special way:
1.Fight until you're both at a high percent.
2.You keep fighting until you die, but don't use any KO moves, so now he's extremely KO-able with all that damage on him.
3.You come back with the special aura, quickly KO him. Now, *if* the special aura remains after he dies, then when he comes back, you'll still have the special aura.
4.You take the lead with the special aura and KO him again. You're now further ahead than you would've been.

You're basing this off an assumption that you'll be playing a training mode dummy. The reality is that in real battles, you can't KO at will, and that being the case, you KO when the opportunity presents itself. There's no way in hell you opt against the kill in this game, and certainly not for some slight bonus.

E.g. What if you choose not to KO, get killed, then get gimped early on in the next stock? This isn't any outlandish scenario, these things happen. The idea si simply not plausible.

Pope basically answered the way I was planning on responding and Lucario's not so quick smashes doesn't yeild to quick KO's unless your like superquick and you take advantage of those invincibility frames you get after death but still its to risky to attempt to KO yourself

Ok so as another thread has recently stated, aura is a double edged sword. The only time it ever helps me is sudden death (muahaha) other than that it actually gimps lucario's game because you have to take significant damage to do normal damage...sigh. Anyway, Hmaal this was just a brawl player mistaking the increase you get in aura from being behind in stock for some kind of secret taunt such as samus's in melee.

The way I see it he has slightly sub-par range knockback and damage when he is a zero percent but around 50-100 its average/good then 150-200 its amazing. There is a chart some where that says the exact amount of percent his arials/attacks/ and his aura sphere do at certain percents. As for the trick, I think like some one before me said, it was just that you were behind and nintendo likes to gimp/even out gameplay so lucario gets bigger arua when hes behind.
edit-PS I haven't tested the trick, I will, but I think you were just mistaken.

Edit#2- the numbers
=Multiplier=
========
Good news guys! I got some Official numbers from my friend with the game!
Using Aura Sphere, Lucario did the following damage:

At 0% - 13%
At 50%- 16%
At 100%- 20%
At 150%- 24%
and
At 200%- 26%

The REAL Multipliers are:
0% - x1.0
50% - ~x1.25(1.23)
100% - ~x1.50(1.53)
150% - ~x1.75 (1.84)
200% - x2.00

So!
That means, Lucario's Power doubles, but the problem becomes the fact you're not playing defense.
This reshapes my Meta-game plan, so I'll make my adjustments, and post them sometime tomorrow.

OKAY! I also had it tested with his DSmash!
The following results:
0%-13(x1.0)
50%-17(~x1.30)
100%-21(~x1.6)
150%-25(~x1.9)
200%-28(~x2.2)

Also remember that any attacks that don't use aura (running attack, down throw, back throw) aren't effected by the aura multipliers.
