Can't help but wonder what everyone else supposedly "In the know" has to say about this. Probably won't take too long to have an answer for that, their twitters will blow up any second. =P

When people start counting the hours before we can start packing things up, I know it's time to pack things up.Welp. RIP. As I mentioned before, we have around 30 some hours for an announcement to happen before we can start packing things up.
Seriously.I just don't get it. We never have Smash trailers in other game's direct, so why now?
We never got one for Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 2 and even Mario Kart 8.
This is moreso seem like BS
I have a theory, A GAME THEORY! What if the Splatoon direct and the Smash Direct are two separate entities, I say this because usually Smash announcements don't usually happen in other game centric directs, usually they happen in generic ones (), ones focused on them () or even just their own trailer (), so they might not even be connected. Then again, just a theory, so don't take my word for it.There was a problem fetching the tweetThe link for everyone else

Nou, the guy in my avi's gonna be DLC, more relevant and potentialI know the real truth.
The guy in my current avatar? He's the DLC.
With a stage based around the set of Too Many Cooks while the only song that plays is the theme. Nonstop.
A pre-order bonus costume =/= "let's confirm a character at the end of a non-Smash direct!"
Why would there be anything Smash related in a Bayonetta direct anyway?
All the other info was vague hints from Stealth and whoever else is "IN THE KNOW", that all points towards what Roger just said.Well... at least there is more to this leak than Roger's info.
Right?
I just saw the two posts, and was too slow to make my reaction post :'(I like how there's more "dis is weird" posts than there actually was posts in the conversation being commented on.
It's like you guys are more interested in keeping it going than myself and MasterofMonster were. 'Cause it wasn't going to go any further than it did, anyway.
Another thing that helps my theory is that on the exact same day as Robin's announcement, Mega Metagross was announced for Pokemon ORAS, so it is possible for multiple Nintendo related announcements to happen on the same day at the same time.A pre-order bonus costume =/= "let's confirm a character at the end of a non-Smash direct!"
The latter has been predicted at just about every game-specific Direct over the past two years.
It has never happened.
Going by Smogon (which I know everyone hates, but still), Hoopa is rated a little higher. No clue on Base-Diancie though as I can't find anything on it.Coil Zygarde. That's a genuine threatening mon, increasing all 3 things Zygarde needs, 2 of which it accels at. Regular Hoopa and Diancie aren't as impressive, correct?
That's a bad assessment if she made it, but that doesn't show me how she's wrong for assessing a Pokémon before knowing its potential form.Tamashii compared Mega Absol to Mega Mewtwo Y in a 'top 10 worst mega' video.
And I'm only talking about your point on Zygarde, not her in general.I think I'm just going to link that video if you try defending her again
It was two posts.I just saw the two posts, and was too slow to make my reaction post :'(
Zygarde's still a pretty good mon, putting it on a 'worst Kalos mon' list just because a few other powerful legendaries are better is actually ****ing dumb, especially when Tamashii doesn't even hate the pokemon but just pulled names out of a hat and tried to make them look bad. It's like saying 'This delicious ice cream is in my top 5 worst food because it's not as good as my favourite ice cream'Going by Smogon (which I know everyone hates, but still), Hoopa is rated a little higher. No clue on Base-Diancie though as I can't find anything on it.

No, it was definitely Smash related. RogersBase announced exactly what they were all talking about (Splatoon Direct ending with a Smash Bros trailer.)Are you telling me that, after all the drama that transpired over the last few days, the supposed leak was fake or, at least, not related to Smash? Well, color me surprised.
After all, it was just a bunch of people claiming to have inside info without any evidence supporting it.
But I guess we could still wait for October 23rd to see if there's any Direct, though I wouldn't count on it.
93XX sadly. The game in which it's everything you mentioned but with Kraid instead of Mother Brain however...Hopefully the next game. I like KraidSo.
When is my new Prime-styled Metroid, with giant epic bosses, non-linearity, limited voice acting/story, cool enemies, scanning cool enemies, varied, gorgeous enviroments, plenty of cool upgrades and collectables scattered allover, gorgeous HD graphics, and a Mother Brain in 3D finally?
Well?
Stop ruining my dreams! Also, Kraid would be epic in 3D as well. He was gonna be in the first Prime, and his concept art was awesome. Shame he was cut.93XX sadly. The game in which it's everything you mentioned but with Kraid instead of Mother Brain however...Hopefully the next game. I like Kraid
Ridley be like 'LOOK OUT ***** I'M SMALL AGAIN! SEE YOU IN SMA-AAAAAA SUPER MISSLES! THEY BUUUURN'Stop ruining my dreams! Also, Kraid would be epic in 3D as well. He was gonna be in the first Prime, and his concept art was awesome. Shame he was cut.
How about this, then? A remake of Super Metroid, but in the style of a Prime game. Imagen all those cool Super moments, but in gorgeous HD, 3D graphics!
It makes sense but like past unrelated Directs on other games and even events, I really shouldn't expect a Smash announcement and I just don't see it happening. As much as I doubt we're getting a Splatoon DLC Direct, much less with an Inkling announcement, the circumstances are different.
Having a Smash character announcement in an upcoming game would direct attention away from a game Nintendo wants you to buy.
The Mii costumes in the Splatoon Direct were minor, and you had to buy Splatoon to get them early.
Now both Smash and Splatoon are out, and pretty much the entire Wii U playerbase has them both. Segwaying into Smash DLC at the end of a Splatoon DLC presentation would actually be pretty resourceful.
See, I mean the game would be recreated fully new, and be as if Super Metroid was made as a Prime game. ^^ Like, all the general stuff in Super would remain, remade to fit a 3D, FPS game. I don't mean a 2.5D. game. ^^"In the style of a Prime game" means it would be a full 3D game.
Super Metroid was not meant for that.
What you want is Super Metroid to be 2.5D.
Inb4 "Inkling Costumes were in the Splatoon Direct durhur" comments.
That was harmless cross promotion. This is an entire character.
We don't know for certain since there's still the 23rd deadline.I just did 4 tests and I have more 3 tomorrow and 5 on Thursday
Oh boy, I sure am in the mood to just die right now
Oh, the leak was supposedly fake? I sure am hyped to get a cool new avi from vaanrose
