In Melee you could unlock certain trophies by having certain save data, in MGS for NGC that one guy could read your memory card.In the Simpson's Road Rage game, certain cars were unlocked if the date matched a holiday. In Metroid Prime 3, you could get certain bumper stickers through certain data on your Wii. There might not be any DLC, but that doesn't mean Nintendo can't release a trigger than will activate secrets. Maybe its something as simple as having a new Wii patch or something, or having a save file from a future game

I think that there will be something you can unlock from having a GC memory card in with Melee data on it.

I could be mistaken but i think there is absolutly no type of downloadable anything. No thought was even put into it.

Its possible yes, but how why the transfered data behave in the brawl
environment? (i.e FS, hitboxes, alterations to movesets, ect...)

Wasn't the entire dual layered disk cracked and no extra content discovered (besides junk coding for Mewtwo and Roy, plus a few extra songs)?

I would doubt anything as big as characters would be unlocked through data, but stickers and trophies are possible. Maybe even music and Assist Trophies.

You guys need to stop with the extra crap, there is nothing, nothing at all, no patches, no updates, no rack fixes are going to add any other content towards SSBB.

No there is no way, no hard drive, equals no support, I developed for Wii, and theres nothing you can aid to make it possible.

I AM desperate. Nothing in this game seems to have worked out IMO. WOlf?! Ganon still a clone?! LAMECARIO!! They removed my favorite characters and mains, replaced them with **** and worst of all AHD THEM in production but despite the delays couldn't delay it MORE to finish them. IT would be WORTH IT

There's an easy solution to that. Play Melee.

And thanks for at least admitting you're desperate. At least you aren't faking it.

Shut up, you haven't developed for the Wii because if you did you'd know wide and well that it can handle DLC.

And even then, you don't need, for the last time, HARDDRIVE or FLASHDRIVE space to support DLC.

Nope. Mewtwo is on my top 5 fav characters of ALL TIME (through the ENTIRE universe) can't forget this one. If I knew this I would've gone to Japan Burst through Nintendo's dorrs and said "Can't let you do that Sakurai"

nahh i dont think so... they said no DLC AND no chance of getting secret things from connecting to wifi or having a certain thing or anything like that.

Obviously there is a way, since Nintendo just announced that they will be implementing downloadable add-on content to certain games now, via WiiWare channel or something similiar to it.

I don't think there is going to be downloadable stuff for Brawl, but I really wouldn't be surprised if there was. Yeah I know, Sakurai said there wasn't, but Nintendo could do it within a few years if they really wanted to... Plus, it seems kinda weird that Sakurai didn't think it was possible for the Wii to be able to do something like that, even though Nintendo has obviously been planning this for a while... You think he'd know everything the Wii could do so he could try to utilize it for the most anticipated game for the Wii thus far...

And I'm sure everyone remembers the reaction to "up until now." concerning Ness and Lucas.

So I think DLC's chances haven't changed at all. For me, nothing Sakurai says can really be taken as 100% after "up until now."
