I liked Star Driver a lot so definitely watch it, especially since its an ongoing full season. At first I didn't like it, but then I started watching it again and i was like **** this *****.

Also if you're not already watching Infinite Stratos, that anime is ****ing sugoi already and the third episode just came out today.

Theres a lot of other new anime out this season, I'll get back to you when I check them out.

Also HoN is more competitive, but its also way uglier. None of the characters are cute at all, so its kind of unbearable to play. Also friendly fire in an rts is weird. Denying creeps is tight, but being able to deny champs is awkward.

LoL & HoN are more competitive than DotA.


EDIT: Watch Shinrei Tantei Yakumo. Its a dark anime that has a really gay description but turned out pretty tight. Basically this guy can see the souls of the dead and solves detective cases involving them/using them. Its really good though, another of my favorites from last season.

ur a japan dude and i can def see u enjoying it. some parts are cheesy, (jokes) but each saga after the 1st one is ****ing amazing and hella intricate, not that the 1st one isnt pretty tight. the last arc in the 1st one is hella tight.

oh well, doesn't matter to me anyway lol. dota-type games are boring to me. if i wanted to play an rts i'd actually play an rts, and pick up starcraft 2

I'm gonna be a pain in the *** about semantics here, they aren't really the same genre. They happen to have similar controls and the same visual perspective but other than that the game elements are drastically different.

It would be like comparing FPS vs a first person, action RPG. Drastically different game elements yet still maintaining similar controls and visual perspective.

That being said, I would play starcraft for a RTS experience. Dota clones offer you the PvP element from MMORPGs.

Yea, I believe Austin when he says something is good. He said 1 piece is the ultimate ****. Im just like mad intimidated by the 480 some odd episodes.

For anybody who remembers Inuyasha, they finished it. 6 full season and the released the final 7th season like sometimes last year. I mean its full of filler and **** like seasons 4 and 5 and half of 6 mainly. Im probably gonna rewatch it just cuz I liked it and I can skip thru alot of the boring **** I already saw. But I do wanna catch up from where I left off. AFter I finish that, and actually finish the 2nd half of Evangelion, and bakemonoguitari Ill prob try 1 piece one more gain.

one piece is like, the biggest anime in japan though. there is more one piece merchandise in japan, for example, than probably other anime combined. you can go into any "normal" clothing store (like uniqlo or the gap) and buy one piece t-shirts. i might have to get you a souvenir otto haha


rohins: Yeah, I feel it. I guess I shouldn't have compared the genres like that, but I've played pvp in mmo's before (long time ago haha) and I've played RTS, and if I had to go back to playing one or the other I'd take RTS any day. plus starcraft 2 seems pretty hype lolz. :x

As for rts not going to lie sc2 is probably the best of all that are mentioned, but sucks balls for teams i.e. the more people that play the more of a tier 1 spam game it is. So if ur into teams i can understand playing LoL or HoN and like i believe toph said earlier it comes down to how hardcore or casual you and ur group of friends are.

Besides the obvious death note, code geass, rurouni kenshin, gurren lagan, and fma (though i hated those last 2 LOL) i'd suggest great teacher onizuka, hajime no ippo, and hajime no ippo new chllaneger, read or die (ova) just to name a few.

@Kline- yeah i hated inyusha it was pretty much all filler with almost no story, the overall story was good, but episode to episode was lame. I did however watch the final season when it came out (they crammed like the last 1/3 of the manga into the final season). But i think it was pretty good, the rest of the show sucked balls not going to lie.

lol, the length just adds more depth. certain things happen that later affect the story. the 1st saga is made up of short arcs that get increasingly long as the saga progresses. its basically the main main chars meeting each other and their stories. every saga after the 1st one is like 1 story in itself, and is made up of like 60-100 eps. hella **** happens and every little thing has a part in the story that changes what would happen a lot. the writers a ****ing genius. there isnt much filler either, so the story progresses pretty quick, aside from the 2nd saga, but the last 40 eps of that one is incredible. the emotion displayed in later sagas is crazy good. you just have to get past how unattractive some of the art is, and how poor the animation is in the 1st 1.5 sagas. just watch it lol, dont waste your time with inuyasha. ive seen most of that and id say just watch op. im not very good at explainin **** so i cant really justify it. nothing i can compare it to

im not gonna lie tho, there are some pretty cheesy parts, but its def worth it.

Seems like a ****ing journey, Austin's been saying its ****ing the S*** for like a few years now. and I dont really mind the animation, I just initially thought the characters seemed cheesy and not tight but I didnt really give em a chance. But he said there is crazy depth and **** so I guess Ill watch it then.

Otto, youve gotta watch other anime before you go around sayin one piece is the best. I don't like shounen that much or I'd be all up on it. (Though every time I actually sit down to watch it its a good time, dedicating all of my anime time to one anime just to catch up doesn't seem worth it)

I don't watch too much new season anime, but I have seen a fair amount of older stuff.

Out of Shane's list I'd say get on Elfen Lied if you haven't already. ****'s dope and pretty short. :D

nah theres not much filler in one piece. sometimes after a saga each character will have a filler episode and theres 2 or 4 little filler arcs that are like 5-10 episodes

i'm thinking of reading the one piece manga btw. it occurred to me that i've been looking for a good shonen manga to read for a while (shonen in particular because they leave the readings for the kanji in) and one piece might be THE ANSWER :o

Boomer. oooomfg. i played a.sate when i started cuz i thought the lasers were tight, and i still like a.sate but boomer is like, one of the most technical bots because its shots are waaaay more influenced by the wind than any other bot. but it's like, really really solid if you're good, and you get a lot of reward for learning how to manipulate the wind

I haven't played Gunbound since like 2003. A bunch of new mobiles. I liked JD and bunge kills... and how cute JD sounds when he walks. First mobile I ever used was armor, didn't really like him.

@OttoB-Oh I feel it. I started trying out the phoenix ***** or whatever, he seems kinda tight cuz he has that high launch angle and ****, But so far I like the wolf the most. Im not 100% sure on the difference between attack 1 and 2. Is 2 just some sort of multi-hit move and then SS is the special. And I kinda dont know what **** I should buy to power up, and what items to use(ones where there are like 6 slots)

Also I realized some levels are mad gay haha. I got bunged on the first turn. ***** shot hella grenade looking things and had it doubled up and I started on this thin *** bridge lol.

I think I wanna **** wit that locked Dragon lookin ***** tho. Just cuz I like dragons and ****....depends on if he is good or not.

dont get too used to using the phoenix, you have to be a power user or w/e but u can use him at first. dont buy **** for a while. never buy anything for a week or a month either, only for keeps. for item 1 it depends on what ur playing (1v1, 2v2 etc) and who ur using. dual is a must. tele is handy in 1v1 and 2v2. dual plus ***** if ur shots go in the same spot or under other character dependent circumstances.

terrain b is horrible. if ur in a 1v1 room, set it to terrain b and itll usually go to terrain a and vice-versa.

Yea, double hit seems hella ****, and with wolf double plus would work(assuming its where u can fire 2 diff weapons). And yea, I never buy **** for temp. Its a waste of money, thats why I asked. I dont wanna get anything I dont want lol.
