Anyways mm'n isn't really the way to go about tryna climb the ladder. The panelists need to see results, and the tourney is the best way to get em. We're not gonna be there to witness all these lil $1 or $2 mm's.

Batman, tourney is where it's at my dude. MMs are tight too though (I'd be down to MM when I get back :P) but ultimately, tourney is like, where you prove yourself. Cuz that's when the pressure really comes down to it. You can't "double or nothing" your way out of the loser's bracket. And you gotta adapt to your next opponent a lot faster, not like a MM where you can call it out a week in advance and then study your opponent's videos or whatever.

So yeah. Enter! :D

im torn. I wanna drop magneto. but he had a purple beam and he is like the best lol.

but I think other people might work well with my team.

got some pretty basic zero assist combos that do 500k ish so im happy with those.

im looking at storm dormamu taskM as a third. Im willing to drop the beam for like an otg assist or a team that can dhc with zero's hyper and not **** it up.

lol, top 5 have been static for at least the past year and a half as far as I know. You aren't beating bladewise, C!Z or vish to get that third spot. and id be really surprised if you got 5th seeing that 5th is usually taken by C!Z, me, prime, and ben right now. (Queue post about how you beat me and im not good and in one way i agree, im not good against peach)

I usually watch finals even though i don't play melee anymore . thats the problem for teddy too, we usually have brawl matches so us two can't watch. but i try to watch when i can, they're usually really fun to watch even though ive seen shane vs otto sets since like 2005 haha

I'm living on the UW campus now, and hoping to get back into the melee scene. Problem: I have no cube, no game, no car, and no TV. Just my old controller.

So what's the smash scene in the U-district like?

U-District was like, the go-to place for smash last year cuz I hosted pretty big smashfests every friday. But I'm not gonna be back to seattle until september. Still a lot of good smashers in the area though. Vish, who's 4th on the PR, is a UW student, and then there are a bunch of casual***s (who would be power ranked if they went to tourneys) who smash pretty frequently. Kaostar will fill you in.

Shane and Otto are definitely still around, but Ka-master went to Nicaragua to carry out his Mormon mission.

andy! last night was kinda tight. consistent 7 minute m2 samus matches **** lol. ur alot smarter when it comes to your game play and trying to read what im doing. no lie, idk if I can kill u 4 times in 7 minutes lol. samus is hella fun to play when u bring your own gay to the table.
