Ok Now that were close enough which delay was worst?

March 9th because I didn't have a wii until like Mid January so I didn't care when in came out in December Heck I didn't even know there was a new smash bros game coming out until a week or two after I got the wii

I speak for everyone when I say "June 1st" is the worst delay of all time.

Trust me, believe it or not, on June 1st, 2007 the game was ORIGINALLY supposed to come out in North America. I was so excited because i checked on gamestop for the release date and said June 1st. I wanted to play it all during summer, but then it got delayed to September 1st, 2007 then to December 3rd, and you know the rest

Never trust shop release dates. EVER. The game was NEVER going to come out any earlier than December 3rd, because Nintendo never announced anything else.

Descember 3 - feb 10 was worst for me, cause I was gonna get it, then have my birthday-brawl celebration the same day.

i still don't understand that delay though, cause japan got it only a week before that date and it doesn't take a whole month to change the language from japanese to english....it was completely unnecessary

unlike the dec to feb, that was a lot longer so maybe there was something wrong with the game and they had to fix it, but why the feb to march one.....i hate thos delays

The USA is a lot bigger than Japan and is already having LOTS of problems with Wii stock, so Nintendo delayed it so that there would be at least enough stock to supply demand.

March 9th just because we were so close... (and there are a few more personal reasons, which I believe that my cousins will be relentlessly rubbing it in my face that they get a whole week off to play brawl while I have to go to school...)

Mind you I think I could argue that the February 10th delay was also painful because of the update that came with it... an official Sonic VS Mario game (that isn't a bunch of minigames) just made the wait so much harder...

March 9th, I tried to distance myself until mid-January, but then I got so into it that I was even more disapointed.

Exactly what I did. I was vaguely aware that there was a new Smash game coming for the Wii, heard that it was delayed until February, and around January got curious enough about it to check the dojo. Started reading all the information about it and got very excited, then saw it was delayed until March 9th. Absolutely heartbreaking.

Of course if I'd been paying closer attention I'd have been more upset about the Dec-Feb delay, because it would've given me all winter break to play my heart out.

you do realize that once a game is finished it doesn't take long to put it onto a disc, at most, it'll probably tak an hour for each disk to finish, and that's extreme, so that's definitely not the problem

trust me, making sure there was enough to stock the US was not the problem, if they delay it, it's usually there's something wrong with them programming or something

Actually the Dec 3rd delay was bad too. It was like 30-40 Days, then it went up to triple digits T_T

Dec 3rd to Feb 10th was fine since it wasn't that terrible for me and we learned about it way early (October) and were able to emotionally prepare. The Feb 10th to March 9th one was bad because we were so close and they just snatched it away. And it was going to be released the day after my birthday (Feb 9th) and would have made for a fun all night 19th birthday party.

For me? The delay to March 9th sucked the worst.

Given, the February 10th delay was longer, but I understood that Sakurai needed more time to do a good job completing the game, and February 10th was still in time for my Spring break in March. Plus, Sakurai gave us Sonic to try and make up for it.

But then here we are, less than a month away from our release, and BAM, another month added on. No special updates, we KNEW development was just about done, Sakurai gave us nothing. We would've been spoiled either way.

So yeah, March 9th sucked, big time.
