What type of "guidelines" are you guys thinking about?
The only real purpose of having a support group is to... well, show support, right?

Well Eg, this may be a little to close to ranks, but what I think we can do is kind of what a frat does. We can have official members and pledges. Official members would have a sig and pledges would have one.

Anyone can become a pledge but they have to do something to become official. I think RIDLEY did it best.

You see, what's the point of being an "official" member or not? It really makes no difference, in this situation. The thing with RIDLEY, is that they had there own forums, which only "official" members could get into. That isn't the case for this group, which I'm trying to keep open to everyone.

Since our home is really this thread, what's keeping anyone out if they're official or not? Plus, I really don't like the idea of forums that are based off of another successful one. They always turn out to wreck in the end, or just become a failure from the start.

I like something that someone said, though; where we have an "official" debate team to settle with the people that come in and start arguments. Though, I would really like to try and bypass ranks. It really, really is a useless idea.

Actually, the whole debate team idea kind of goes against the whole purpose of my "Common Arguments" section being added to the first post. So, that'll no to the debate team.

I agree with egruntz. No ranks and anyone can join. As soon as you start taking things too seriously, things can get.... out of hand .

i hated the pikmin games, im not even sure why i just did. my friend would always buy them for me as a joke and we would play them XD. despite how much i despise the game, a pikmin/olimar charecter is the most likely newcomer to me. everything seems to fit and i cant see him being left out. even tho i dont like him i think he would be fun to play with in brawl ^^

Captain Olimar, heh...?

At first, I thought that this character should be better as a AT, because all he does in the game to defend himself is throwing Pikmins to enemies; therefore, he is not a combat type character, and if he was given giving hand-to-hand combat abilities I thought it would pretty much destroy the character.
But then I thought about Kirby, Yoshi, Fox, C. FALCON......... so if that didn't hurt these characters why should it hurt him. So, he should definitly be a character who punches and kicks.

But I still wasn't about how the whole Pikmin system would work. Then, I gave it a little thought then found that it would work fine (Although it will be pretty annoying for others, but they could still knock your Pikmons around). His B moves would be all Pikmin related. Plucking them from the ground and they'd follow youwherever you go. Throw the Pikmin you just dug out at your enemy. Whistle if they get too far. And recover by sacrifcing your Pikmins (Mmm, what happens if you don't have any Pikmin left...Maybe a A move helps you recover but not as much...).

Anyways, it's pretty much the same thing as the first post's moves. All this just to say that Olimar would make a great and interesting addition to Brawl (Plus the game needs rep), and I definitly support this character.
