Picking a Main..

So, I got the game a few days ago, been playing a bunch, did all the SSE, unlocked all the chars, played some online... And I just can't decide on a Main.. I've tried pretty much all the characters, but I just can't find someone I'm happy with.. I've been playing Yoshi for a while, and I like to think I'm decent at him.. But, I dunno.. I just don't like Yoshi (No offense to Yoshi fans)

So.. How did YOU pick your Main? And any suggestions to who I should Main?

It's just whichever character falls into your style of play and how they work in accordance with you.

Guess I should just random button 'till I find it then eh? I do plan on doing 2v2 with my RL friend, and I'll probably work that character around his, finding chars that work together etc, I've got some pretty good plans for that.. But yeah, for singles, guess I'll random for a while.

Like Tek said, it's all about who fits your playstyle. I like to aggresively edgeguard, so I go with the Metaknights/Pits/Dededes of the world, though I focus more on Dedede.

I go by favorites.

So in Melee I used 8 different characters, in Brawl I use my favorite 10.

Diddy/Fox/Luigi are the top 3.

Well It depends, If you wont someone quick and agilitive and takes of bita at a time you should use someone like pikachu,fox,toon link, or maby sonic. If you like someone that just a normal basic character; stick with mario, luigi, or Pit. And if your looking for someone that takes off heavy damage and isnt as fast. Go with Link,Bowser,Dedede, or Ike.
