repeated shdair -> shine on someone's shield to wear it down

sometimes includes double-shines nowadays

it does NOT include actually hitting the player except with the very last hit; that's when the "pillar" ends

But what about the ones that don't involve wavedashing like the ones you do against Marth? You can't call them waveshine combos. ;p

I've heard the diar>shine>dair combos called the "Up-Down" combo for obvious reasons.

people just call a Dair + shine combo that keeps hitting a 'dair shine combo xD' or shine combos i guess

Yah think of the Up-Down combo as a broader More damaging Pillar. And think of Pillareing as DBZ quick close combat.

yes, but if you do it perfectly then it's almost impossible for them to grab. Usually they'll just roll out of it.
