The first video game I ever played happened to be Super Smash Bros. Melee. That game is what got me into video games as a whole. It was from Melee that I learned about Nintendo's many universes and series and what got me to find out more about them. Except the only problem being I didn't have a console of my own; all the times I played Melee were at my best friend's house. Only years later, Brawl came out, my friend being quick to buy it. It was that same year my parents finally agreed to buy a Wii. The rest is history. You wouldn't be interested.

^And that's how I got into the Smash Bros. scene. I still have yet to play the original for the N64, but I've put several hundred, possibly even a thousand hours into both Melee and Brawl. My mains from Melee and Brawl are Marth for his speed and precision, Snake for area control and ZSS for pure speed. I'm still playing around with SSB4, but I'm currently liking Robin and Shulk for their very good versatility (And I'm a Fire Emblem fanboy). I tend to alternate between competitive and casual play, as as much as I love fighting for glory, it's always fun to blow off steam in a no-holds-barred free for all with items on. I'm also a fan of Project M (and other Brawl mods, but I'm not sure if they're taboo here or not...).

In real life, I am a high school student that plays the Cello, loves to write and absolutely hates anything to do with Math. I'm also into various TV and movie genres, ranging from crime drama to anime (gotta love Fullmetal Alchemist and Death Note, FYI V for Vendetta is the best movie EVER). My favorite video game series is Metroid (to be more specific, the Metroid Prime series) and Metal Gear Solid. I'm also in to Fire Emblem (in case you couldn't tell...). You can also find me on several Gamefaqs forums and the modding community.

Fullmetal, Death Note, MGS? This one has good taste. You might be interested in No game no life, assuming you enjoy high quality anime (Not in a visual manner).
None the less, welcome. :cyclops:
