My friend has Brawl, and we were doing some tests with Pit. One of our tests involved Pit vs. Link.

When Pit shoots his arrow at Link, Link's shield still blocks projectiles as usual while standing still. However, when Link shot at Pit while Pit has his shield up, the arrow reflects off of the shield.

Even better, the arrow that was reflected went through Link and hit Sonic who was behind him. Neat, huh?

but from what i understand, the reflected projectile cannot hurt the original shooter
Wow... then its like Mewtwo's >B in Melee? That is terrible... How about Pit's >B? That can reflect projectiles too right? Does it accelerate the objects speed and deal damage?

I really hope so...

Playd pit andd you can hurt the original shooter of the projectile. It is pretty good but the over B refection is far better because it causes physical damage too. Pit is pretty good and his down B is usable usually when you are falling from above and Zelda is under you using her really cheap din's fire... It is broken in this game.:(

From what I heard, The shield reflects projectile and is like marths conter if brought up right when your attacked. Is this true...
I hope not or else pit will be the best without doubt

That was very painful to read, might I suggest grammar lessons? But there will not be another black hole glitch in this game.

I don't know whether there'll be a glitch or not, but I'd think this shield will be a lot more durable than the reflector of Fox and Falco in Melee. I experimented with pokéballs, and they were reflected a few times between Fox and Falco before one of them went into shield break pose and got hit by the ball. I'd imagine it going infinitely between two Pits. :p Anyway, I think the shield will be better at reflecting projectiles than the Angel Ring (which I also need to test) because it is put up faster.

@mario8498: Why grammar lessons? Firefox has a built-in spell check feature! ...You guy ARE using Firefox... right? :p Anyway, I've read worse.

I correct: The shield cannot reflect attacks. It only reflects projectile and protect against attack(not like Fox/Flaco/Wolf deflector as it can be stopped by an attack). Although this shield does not burn out against attacks.

I wasn't completely sure about Pit's mirror shield so this topic helped me out a bit. Thanks to anyone providing info on it.
