Ignore the **** quality plz, only thing in my house that could record was my laptop webcam. Most of the video involves pivot FTilts because the combos I could pull off with it were absolutely ridiculous, so I hope this goes to show learning this is a must if ur a Fox main

Hey thx alot im glad u liked it, but I wouldn't pick up Fox after seeing this video alone. Just know Fox struggles in a few ares like getting kills, approaching and having to deal with being one of the lightest characters in the game but it's a good trade off imo for having one of the best sets of combos

Your Fox is coming along nicely @ BradLeeTee BradLeeTee - nice combos.

A few bits of advice; while the combos are nice, you drop them for seemingly no reason or at least don't follow up - this might be because you were just showing the Pivot combos, though. When you drop them with F-Air, instead of doing a down smash you could have jab reset him and continued to combo him. Spacing and timing a Nair to hit them when they get up and then jab locking them is another way to continue the % gains safely.

Hey thx for the feedback, I have definitely improved from the time I thought up throw into up throw was a chain grab. I don't think I'm quite getting what u were trying to say in that last paragraph tho. Thing is when I had dragged Fox down with a FAir he was already 66% which is way to late to lock him with an FTilt and probably with a sour NAir as well if I could even hit him before he can perform a get up attack. Some things like UTilt into UAir would do more dmg in that situation but I was trying not to make the combos to repetitive

Fair enough, but what I was saying is that after he landed on the ground from your F-Air, you should have "Jab locked" him - Jab lock = jabbing him twice rapidly, waiting like .5 seconds and then jabbing him twice again; continue this for however long you want (for a more detailed guide search for a Sm4sh Fox Jab Lock guide video).

The thing with F-Air, and to an extent F-Tilt, is that when they fall or trip like that; using Jab Lock will always work just as long as you hit them quick enough. The only time this isn't true is if they are at such a high % that your jabs slowly push them up into the air, allowing them to jump out ect.

However, since they are on the ground when you started the Jab Lock, it will work regardless of %.

Oh sht my bad I got jab reset mixed up with jab locks. But thanks for letting me know I actually didn't know you could do that until now, dam if I had I may have been able to make that last combo a 0-death. I really shud start jab locking more tho, first I've gotta stop myself from thinking jab locking is a cheesy way of winning the match
