Preorder bonus where you live?

Simple question. I ask this because across the the US stores I've browsed, I see no such preorder extras(if not counting the limited Best buy promo), but here in Mexico, they throw in a little poster when you preorder either version. I'm curious as to why this discrepancy is, but I'd like some verification from foreigners if you have the same thing

Also included is a little poll to gather opinions about preorders. Not that it's an important subject, mind you, but again, it came to me from the issue above and don't want to create another thread just for it when I can cover it here.

I went to a BestBuy for Smashfest and if you pre ordered Smash Bros. for either system on that day only then you will receive a golden Smash Bros. logo coin when you pick the game up.

I saw the Best Buy coin in person and it was honestly pretty pathetic. The store associate also told me I'd probably have to come back to the same store to pick it up, and since that was a two hour bus ride, I decided to pass, thinking there'd be tons of other preorder bonuses.

And...nothing for the US yet. No midnight releases in my area, either. I spoke to a Gamestop manager who said that corporate usually won't let them do midnight releases for Nintendo games because they're viewed as "for kids." (To her credit, she acknowledged how stupid that policy was, especially in this case.)

Just got an update from my retailer: we're getting a midnight release on launch day. They've also included a second preorder bonus.

Translation: Preorder and receive a poster and exclusive bracelet.

Now, I'm not sure this applies to the preorder I made in March, so I'm going tomorrow there to verify it.

Are you guys sure no other country receives any sort of bonus?

As far as I know the US doesn't. Which is stupid. At least in Hyrule Warriors we're getting free DLC of our choice.
Would be cooler if we got Link's scarf, though.

Spain and GAME. Nothing has been said as to what Gamestop or major retailers will offer, though Gamestop is very minor in Spain compared to GAME.

At this point, if it hasn't happened where you live, it probably won't(for 3DS at least). I can see the Wii U version getting more preorder incentive. Maybe a random Amiibo.

In other news, my retailer says that the bracelet will be reserved for those who preordered the earliest. I made mine back in March, so I'm in a pretty safe position.

I really should try pre-ordering from Best Buy more often. The one time I did was for Gears of War 3, because they were the only store that would get you Baird's alternate costume. I had to drive significantly further to get to it, but they had free goodies to take, a raffle for various cool items and free copies of the game, and two TVs with the game running for to hours. There were tons of people. It was awesome.

But I always preorder from Gamestop because it's way closer, and they have a midnight release for pretty much every major game. But there are never any extra goodies or demos or anything. You just go, line up, get your game and leave. Which is fine, but I'd like to have more Gears 3 experiences.

I get home, open it up, no code. I had to jump through about a hundred hoops to get them to email me one, which took about a week.

I'm pre-ordering my copy at the closest Gamestop to where I live, and they're doing a midnight release like they did with Brawl. I really won't care if there's no bonus. Sure, it would be nice, but being able to play it till I fall asleep early in the morning is enough of a bonus for me.

I pre-ordered mine at best buy.other then the cool pre order card I got and the promised smash coin , there where buttons also that you could pin on.i havent heard of a pre order bounus or even limit edition anything yet......but im keeping my eyes open for somthing this month

Just looked at it, looks kinda cheap . Seriously though, I hoping for at least a LITTLE the actual Sticker book design from Sticker Star, but nope. Looks like some sticker book you'd find at Target.

Nothing in Australia at the moment either, at least not through the major retailers. And while I'm really hoping we'll get something, I think we'd have seen it by now if we were.
