Pictured generally come from Google, Deviant art, Screenshots from Brawl itself.
For mine, I found a person on Deviant art who drew all the brawl characters and used those. Everything else I made myself through blending options, layer changes, filters, gradients ect.. General photoshop stuff

I used to make stuff like that as a hobby, but i don't really have the time any more (school/work and brawl ftw)

I really like the text on milne's sig, but i think you could do with a bit more contrast, and perhaps a small (1px) black border
