Problem with Z button in Debug Mode (Dolphin)

I've been using Dolphin for Project M 3.5 and I really haven't had many issues so far with regards to bugs. However, one issue that's been bothering me is that in Debug Mode, the Z button doesn't work for much of the time. I have to press the button many (probably around 50) times in order to move to the next frame, it works about 10 times, then I have to repeat the cycle. To make matters worse, it worked fine the first time I booted the game and stopped ever since. Please help me. I really want make the most of Debug Mode but it's been really difficult as it is now.

PS - I have already tried reinstalling 3.5 and using a different controller

Unfortunately some codes such as Debug Mode may not function correctly in Dolphin.

Thanks for replying. I figured that Dolphin might have issues with the new modes but the sad part is that it worked initially....... Maybe the next update will fix it.
