Here's how it works: every week I pick a stage and say what I like and hate. Then, you say what you like and hate. If you want, you can also rate the stage, but it won't count for anything. I'll probably do something like this in general brawl for characters since there's no general character discussion as far as I know. this week is 75m.

a stage of the orginal super mario bros. By touching the fire, you get decent damage and knockback. Every 40 seconds or so, DK will attack. They're fairly easily to dodge unless you're thrown or baited into them. Pros: it's an interesting stage that is very different. Cons: one of the less used stages that not many people like or are accustomed to.
My Rating:3.0/10 It's not very exciting...

75m... what can I say about this stage. it is one of the more unique stages. I never expected it to become a stage. when i saw it on the dojo I thought it was a bad idea and they could've done better. I dont understand the point of the purse u can touch. i guess it was in the original game. it should be a dmage reduction thing or something. the fighting pace can be slow if the battle rages to all the moving platforms and the flames get on my nerves. The old schol Dk is another terrible thing. those trompolines shouldn't do much damage

pros: why do i even bother...
cons: everything i just said
stage it should be replaced with: ( everyone list this in future posts!) a bowser's castle stage
final rating: 0/10

Well 75m is a cool stage because of it's old school theme and it looks nice. However it is IMO a horrible and annoying stage to fight on. Multiple hazards and not being able to pass through platforms under you really make this stage annoying. Especially if you get lauchned to the top and have to dash all the way back down to the bottom where the action is.

PROS: The old school theme is really nice and it's design is basically the same as the one from the arcade. The items that add points to your score in right hand corner is also a nice touch to the stage.

CONS: The multiple hazards can get annoying, the ladders get in the way at times, not being able to pass through platforms below you, and the huge size of the stage make this stage better to look at then to play on.

My final ratiing: 4.7/10

Pros:
Makes those of us who saw the stage before we played brawl feel older than we should ...No wait, isn't that a con? Whatever.

Cons:
Horrible place to fight. Camping and running is extremely evident. Points serve no purpose.

Rate: -12/10 It's that bad.

I'll tell you right now, 75m is my least favorite stage. I agree, a bowser castle stage would be awesome, But I can't think of how it would look like. Another cool stage would be another Twilight Princess area.

i hate 75m alot. the design is full of nostalga but I believe a good stage needs to not overhinder a match. and with the mini-platforms it just destroys brawl's gameplay. its like a badly made custom stage

Pros: Nostalgia, your opponent will never be any better off than you
Cons: Unpredictable stage hazards, no concrete floor, unfair blast zones

that would be good. and maybe it can have platforms that shift postions every couple of seconds along with shadow beast attacks every now and then
Yeah! And to stop the three, you have to kill the last 2 at the same time!:)I think we're on to something awesome!

Probably in front of his Wii
Pros: .....um, its about an old game...I guess...

Cons: Walk off edges (I think at one point, but I never play this one so I might be wrong lol), tramplines, fire, huge stage, all hazards have good damage and knockback, giant DK who kills you, etc.

Final Rating: 0/100.

Oh, are we still doing 75m?
Okay!
PROS:Well 75 m works REALLY well on Wi-fi when me and my friend are just messing around. And by messing around I mean we hardly try to kill each other and just run around and dodge the fireballs and barrels and stuff (lots of 'ands'. Lol).

CONS: BUTTT, if we are fighting at ALL (even the most casual possible) it really is hard to fight your opponent. It feels more like you are fighting the stage. Competitive play cannot even exist there so it's banned (right?). So my rating would have to a solid:

0 for Competitive
1.2 for Casual
8 for Messing around.

Okay then, I'll do it every Monday Wednesday and Friday. Today is Eldin Bridge.

Eldin Bridge is a stage taken from Twilight Princess. It's a flat stage, but every once in a while, Lord Bulbin and a Bulborb will come across the bridge and blow it up(occansionly they won't). If you make contact with Lord Bulborb, you take damage and knockback, but by hitting him, he is stunned momentarily. About 30sec. later, the bridge is repaired, only to start the cycle again. It should be known that many glitches come from this stage.

Pros:A great stage to practice on, good music, lots of glitches, and fun.
Cons:Simple, repetitive, and lots of glitches.

My Rating:7.5/10 I liked this one.

Hint for next stage: "Don't Move!"

Pros: Great music, hazards are hard to abuse, the FD of banned stages
Cons: Simple, doesn't take much to get bored, projectile users have advantage

on this stage you can use the jigglypuff glitch where you get a smash ball with jigglypuff and wait until the bridge is about to regenerate after it explodes. as soon as the dark portal thing comes into view jump off into where the bridge will materialize. When the darkness is getting put into place use the final smash. You will enlarge yourself but get put back on the stage. You can then walk around super sized. i call it giga jigglypuff

other things about this stage:

pros: music is really good, good for any number of players, mimics final destination
cons: you can get KOed by bulbin's bomb, ummmm that's about it

A good stage. The music is really good and mixed up with a simple yet exciting feel. It feels almost like 2 stages. When the explosion happens you play differently then when it's not.

Pros: Simple like FD but still has some cool explosions and glitches, cameo appearance, Fun jumping from one end to the other, supports different styles of play.

Cons: Spamming can be abused, I little to simple and sometimes not enough excitement.

My problem is its size, making the hazards they have not much of a threat...I can't see why they didn't make 25m instead. People recognize that one more.

Pros: None I can see
Cons: The size, like I said before.
Score: 2/10

Pros: Long, simple stage until it explodes into 2, shorter simple stages. Good music, good environment (?), good to practice on while staying alert for stage interferences.
Cons: Walk off stage. Explosion & materializing of stage can be annoying and random.

Score: 8/10

Oh, gods, the glitches. Giga-jigglypuff, to name one..

Pros: Emperor bulblin is really not much of a threat but the bomb is sort of annoying as it can sometimes KO. As an Olimar player, the gap can be bothersome but it's fun to spike people in it.

Cons: Walk-offs are a real turn-off though...

Delfino Island.

This stage was from super mario sunshine, and features a platform that carries you to different areas. This stage also has water.

Pros:Good music, fun stage, good for casual.
Cons:Travels to each area quickly, you can drown in water.

Haha. Here comes the optimistic stage reviewer! Get ready for the...

PROS: It is probably my FAVORITE stage in Brawl. I like the platforms the stops and the water (get this) IS WATER! (Sorry, Hanenbow referance). It's not banned so I can play it competitively, the platforms CHANGE POSITION, each stop has a totally different set up. Man I mean, this stage has everything that a non-banned stage can have. I really enjoy this stage, especially since it came from one of my favorite stages. Its just a really fun stage and I just love playing there.

CONS: ...hmmm. Well I guess there are better choices for competitive, but at least it has one, but really ,due to my biased love, I just can't bring myself to dissing it.

MESSING AROUND: 9.5/10

CASUAL: 9/10

COMPETITIVE: 7.5/10

See you next time folk, the optimistic stage reviewer is out! See ya.

Don't turn around.
Pros: I personally loved Mario Sunshine, so I thought this was a great addition. One of the only Neutral Stages I actually like.

Cons: The little island things can get annoying...but nothing else really.

Face it, the thread is dying:(.

Edit:Yoshi's Island.

Yoshi's Island is a small stage. It is one area with one platform. On each side, A platform will rise for a few seconds. One noticeable feature is that the background will change seasons.

Pros:Seasons and music is good for a casual brawl.
Cons:Simple, few noticeable features.

My Rating:6.9/10
