Random SSBB Glitch

I was playing as ICs against CPUs to pass the time. One of the random match-ups was against another ICs (on Final Destination). A third of the way through the match, I grabbed one of the other ICs, the next moment he was behind me. Now it gets weird:

The screen is constantly showing the left edge.
The Belay sound effect is randomly going off.
I get random jump boosts in mid-air. (Without sending me into free fall.)
The other Nana is perpetually in freefall mode, until she dies.
My Popo randomly spawns at the left edge. My Nana, however, does not move.

I saved a replay of it, and surprisingly, the glitch was still in the replay.

After a month and two weeks of putting it off, I finally uploaded it to youtube.

hmm.. interesting, popo doing that, now that's something I've never seen, and believe me i've seen alot of glitches before

What i think happened is, for some reason, the game recognized popo as hanging from the left ledge, even though he wasn't there.

that would explain the camera being to the left, although it looks like its more up+left.

also, that would explain why he "teleports."
Because, rather than teleporting, he had just been holding on to the ledge too long -- inducing a fall.
