Take the "confirmation" of Little Mac, Pac-Man and Mii with a grain of salt. If we see nothing on them by the time E3 ends, it should be discarded.

I hope so, but it seems like a pipe dream, since Sakurai said that "he reached the limit of what's feasible."

I would assume that he's referring to Smash 4's final roster, not Brawl's roster.

I still think we will get at least fifty characters, transformation included.

You misunderstood, he said both versions will have the same roster SIZE. And because they did say this, it might mean version exclusive characters.

It really helps distribute the roster well. It helps you be satisfied with current roster on your version (you possibly only) have.

I'd rather have access to all character no matter which version I get, thank you very much.

If I only had access to one version(which will likely be the case since I doubt I'm taking my Wii U to college with me), then I'd want to have the same characters as the other version.

This makes sense for the Wii Fit Trainer, but with Animal Crossing just had come out for the 3DS, I don't really see how this makes sense. Maybe they have only made these characters on Wii U, and not yet on the 3DS version. I think character exclusives is a great idea, mostly because I am buying both versions

The Wii Fit Trainer us a really "way out in left field" character that could possibly work. I like her fighting style. I thought the Villager had a very unlikely chance but I guess Sakurai took back what he said and was able to work him out. These two were really unexpected!

Smash Bros. is a huge advertising tool. Nothing wrong with that. As for it advertising Wii Fit, if this Trainer turns out to be a good character, let them advertise it. She may become a welcomed addition. However, I highly doubt they "bribed" Sakurai.

I don't think colorfulness is really an issue. If it is then game and watch and rob are screwed haha. But his main problems are that there are already likely to be two more third parties on the way, and three seems a bit hefty to me. Also with the characters they are adding they seem to have more of a juvenile aspect to it. Snake is just a really dark character, I never felt he fit into the smash mold. I think his moveset is cool and all but he just doesn't fit in well with the rest of the crowd.

In all honesty, with Smash being foremost a celebration of all things Nintendo, to have someone from the last few years makes a lot of sense. 'Casual Nintendo' is still Nintendo and in a way I'm glad we've got her in. I found out just before I had to go out and spent 4 hours sat with friends drowning my sorrows, asking myself why and how could this be allowed to happen. Having got back and watching the Nintendo direct on smash I'm, dare I say it, looking forward to playing as her. At least it's got people talking.
