Yeah, probably, but I think he's waiting on Yoshis New Island. Dunno why, maybe new moveset?

Waiting this long for Yoshi, just to learn that his moveset remains unchanged would seem rather disappointing.

I already know that, we have to see that bulge in HD, that is why I want to see him. Usually veterans don't do much for me as I already know that most, if not all, are returning. At least I have something to look forward to in regards to the good Captain.

I didn't like his look in Brawl. I hope he looks something like this:

Tabuu should come back as a boss, that would be cool, I actually really liked his boss fight, even though it was very challenging (at first.)

I'm personally hoping for Cpt. Falcon, because the original game "Dragon King: The Fighting Game" actually has models for characters that bear a resemblance to him. (It may be stretch, but if Sakurai says that Cpt. Falcon and Ganondorf shared similar models, then this is pretty close too, IMO.)

That's not true. Just because something is disregarded very often in Smash does not mean it always will be. Sakurai's not that consistent.

Eh? I thought Toon Link and Sonic were only two characters. I can't remember a third reveal close to them. ("close", as in around two weeks)

But in all honestly, I do expect him to announce the Anniversary but I am not holding onto anything special. At most, maybe a release date of some sort.

Alrighty, I made some visual changes to my roster, Sheik and Zamus are clearly there so I don't have to mention them in side notes anymore, Red's Pokemon too.

I'll address a few of these, particularly Lip and Krystal since people have issues with them the most.

Krystal: The main thing that makes me see Krystal as a serious threat is Rosalina. There are a lot of similarities between them, both being newer characters to their respective series, not being particularly important to the series over all, yet having unique moveset potential that put them a step above others. The only major difference between them is the fact that Nintendo has been pushing Rosalina in everything lately, which likely helped her get into Smash. Still though, Sakurai tends to pick characters for his own reasons, and usually has a few characters that are requested. Krystal isn't very heavily requested, but Sakurai surely must know of her and her potential when doing research for the games. And before Saturn jumps in with his F-Zero banter, neither of the series have anything to do with each other, yes F-Zero could use a second rep, but that doesn't really have anything to do with Krystal in the first place. Also opinions.

Lip: My most "out there" choice, I mainly picked her for that reason, it's pretty certain that the roster won't be filled with "obvious" choices, Miss Fit is evidence enough of that. She also has good moveset potential and represents a series that has only gotten an item and song (and a sticker and the garbage block in Kirby's Stone ability) so far in Smash. Sakurai himself also seems fond of the series, while not that big of a factor, this still leaves the possibility of Lip getting in.

Snake: A lot of people seem to think he's going to get cut because "he's more of a Sony guy." Well that sure stopped him from getting in Brawl right? Between the fact that Sakurai added him as a favour to Kojima (and unless they aren't friends anymore, he'd have no reason to get rid of Snake), and he already went through the troubles of implementing him in Brawl and dealing with licensing, it would be more trouble to get rid of Snake than it would be to keep him. Though Sakurai said that cuts are likely to happen, he also stated at one point that no cuts had been made so far, I take that to mean that he's at least ported over everyone from Brawl and they're all planned to be in if no complications arise. I don't think he would go through the trouble of porting Snake over only to get rid of him.

Pac-Man: The classic ghost eating dot with a mouth that people love to hate. It would certainly be absurd to think he'd get in solely because Namco is working on the game, but that doesn't mean he won't get in either. Sakurai said that third parties have to be of "legendary" status, and if Pac-Man isn't, then I just really don't know what is. Just like Sakurai added Snake as a favour to Kojima, there's always the possibility that Namco could have asked for a character, and if Sakurai found it reasonable enough to add one, Pac-Man is just the obvious choice.

No cuts: I'm not going to go in-depth on this, we already got Toon Link, I think if anyone gets cut, it'll be because of another Sonic situation where Sakurai has to delay the game and put extra work into something else instead of returning veterans.

As always, Roy is my placeholder for a Fire Emblem rep, and Isaac is my placeholder for a promoted assist trophy/general new series rep.

I'd love to see the doctor back, I can be so beast with him but not with reg mario, its that black coat that gives me the edge, regular mario can't do that.

The only one I would take off is Ike,mainly because I don't like him as much. Nevertheless,good roster.

It would be nice to get something tomorrow, but thus far, anniversaries haven't really meant anything thus far. There was the Peach reveal, but that isn't really conclusive.

Sakurai would have to know that tomorrow is the anniversary of the original Smash Bros. If he wants to make it known, then I can see him announcing Ness, Jigglypuff, or Falcon, though with Gamefreak in the mix I doubt the Puff. So, with that said, it's narrowed down to Ness and Falcon. I'm not incredibly partial to either to be honest.

Here's hoping.
