Ok, so there is a new theory going around involving voice work attached to new fighters (both the fighter's voice and the cheering crowd)
The long and short of it is the suggestion that new inclusions might favor characters who require less voice work. As in characters who either don't speak or who can have the same voice work used across all regional versions of the games. The emphasis seems to be more on how many people need to be hired and not how many lines they need to have that person read.

Anyway, here is a question maybe one of you has an answer to, what have they done with the voice acting of Shantae games in Japan? Have they just left the English lines? Did they dub them? And if they dubbed them, was It Christina Vee reading Japanese lines.
Because if they dubbed it, and had Christina read the Japanese lines, then that would work in her favor for getting added if this trend regarding FP voice work was more than a coincidence. Because if this were the case then They would still only be hiring one voice actor for the character and using the same lines across regions.
