Wow Frez it's kinda creepy how you posted my vids on here before me, lol. I'll put them on the main topic.

So I guess moderators ignore the Wario forum. This really should be stickied.

Blue sHell, I have a few questions.
How does Wario deal with Zero Suit Samus? She's very quick and very ranged.
How would you rate Wario's "victim" status? How easy is he to juggle, and how do you recommend breaking a juggle?
Zero Suit actually isn't tooo much of a problem because her range moves are really only ground attacks. None of her aerials truly out prioritize Wario like crazy so in all I think it's a pretty even match.

How the hell can I kill an Ike? His side-B outprioritizes both the bite and the bike. Obscene reach, I just can't touch him. If I roll behind him when he Fsmashes, I get hit anyway as the hitbox extends a little behind him! The player behind the Ike is a Marth main and strangely I don't have many problems with his Marth.

...

Ike isn't a problem Drack. If he's giving you an extremely hard time, then you're not using enough DownAir combos. Marth is a beast, I can't believe you said you have no problems with him! <_< You're obviously not playing a good Marth.

My advice: Stay aerial. Only use ground rushes like dash attacks and dash grabs as trick attacks. And chain grab him like crazy. It's easier on slower chars trust me. It's nice.

can you tell me about the bike?

what are the controls while you ride? and do you get back on the bike with f+B?

could you give an approximation of the range of attack on his wario waft? about two marth fsmashs wide? what about the vertical?

As soon as you summon his bike the basic controls for it are:
1.Press forward and it'll go forward
2. Press up and pop a wheely

Popping a wheely gives a burst of speed after a tiny pause.

If your near his bike while its on the floor and press f+b you'll get back on the bike, yes.

Wario's Waft is hardly horizontal, seriously its a misconception. The gas doesn't hurt. The initial explosion right under Wario is what hurts. So I'd say it's the range of his FSmash horizontally. And vertically it's alot higher. Vertically it probably stretches the length of half of Final D going up and down.

Can you only use the motorcycle once in the air or can you summon it again without touching the ground after it falls of the screen?

Is the motorcycle a viable chase game? Since Wario jumps so much higher off it, could he chase a launched opponent?

Even after it falls completely off the level it takes about 5-7 seconds for Wario to get to use it again.

And yes, very good question. When I see someone in the air far away from me I could easily jump on my bike for the extra speed + vertical pop. It's a great chase game.

And not only that but if you hit with the bike it pops opponents upwards so you could actually jump off your bike right after and followup with a killing Upair. I try to do it in one of my vids but barely miss.

I never noticed how good Wario was able to be. @_@ He looks pretty fast for a fatty, haha.

Anyways, he reminds me of Jigglypuff as to how floaty he is. Could you tell me how fast Wario actually is? Fast or slow, he'll still looks awesome :]

Haha, more and more people flock to the Wario forums... and to think I had the impression, at the beginning, that Wario would be low tier!

I thought he would be low tier too. I mean, he looks slow and just a fun character to play with, but that was all I expected. Oh and he farts as an attack. I now know not to underestimate Wario. Especially his fart.

Shell, question:

While off the stage, can a Forward B (back towards the stage) follow an aerial combo to result in a solid edgeguard or even a bootleg WoP? Like, if set up right, will the bike cause good knockback away from the stage while bringing Wario safely back towards the stage? Can the bike spike?

Actual running speed wise, he's as fast as Dedede(which isn't too great lol), but really the air is his territory. He is so speedy in the air its ridiculous. His aerials are super quick, he has awesome aerial DI, and his short hop is pretty short too. He's up there for the title of best aerial fighter no joke.

I wish, but no. It doesn't spike. In the if the bike hits someone it does have ok knockback but nothing too spectacular. Usually when recovering with your bike you want to avoid risking getting hit off it because it'd make it very hard to make it back afterward against someone who edgegaurds good.

Realize though, that if they hit the bike only while in the air(and ground for that matter), nothing happens. They have to actually hit Wario off the bike, so it's kind of like putting a barrier between you and your opponent.

Ah. I understand. Bike spikes would have been awesome :(

Okay then... When you use the bike midair, it leans forward, so you could use it as part of an aerial combo without having to worry about getting hit as long as you face away from the opponent... am I getting this right?

I assume that if you can get hit this way, it'd only be safe to edgeguard that aggressively if you had a fully charged waft ready.

Is there a secret to the f-air? It seems too odd to be that standard.
It's a sex-kick that's not a n-air, and it's weaker than most sex-kicks. I'm not denying it's obvious usefulness, but it doesn't seem to fit any other aerial move.
Does any other character have a mid-air poke?

Great stuff man, Wario is actually the character I have most fun with playing Brawl, not my best sadly, but working to improve on that. I thought of Wario as a "Jiggly+Luigi" combination, but your "Jiuggly+Bowser" seems much more accurate

Liked the fights you put up, Your freind (Just) doesn´t seem to throw that many pikmins at you, I also like to use Olimar in 1vs1 and constantly spam pikmins for damage and run like a *****, am I wrong to do that, or have U 2 played so much that he just knows you'll eat them (can you eat pikmins??)

Little tidbit of information.

Wario can go under Smashville and reach the other side of the stage, without grabbing either ledge in the process.

He's got a great recovery, you just have to use the bike ;)

soooooooooooooo

here's a theory.

is it possible to keep "skimming" near the bottom of a larger stage by bike-hopping continuously? if you're close enough to the bottom of the stage the will the bike disappear enough and be able to respawn fast enough to keep coming out? sorry, i think i know what i'm saying but it might not make much sense.

basically a wario infinite jump at the bottom of the stage with the hawg.

edit: i also haven't seen much projectile eating.
can he eat any spacie's lasers... samus' missiles...?

You can't eat any energy based attacks. And eatting explosives isn't worth it because you still take damage. It's better just to dodge/catch them.

And like someone said on top of me, the bike, even if its off the level completely, still takes about 5-7 seconds to be able to be resummoned.

When his waft is fully charged, his body starts to flash red
Yep, but not red. He glows brown. :chuckle:

Nope, no other character got one, because Wario alone is special. :bee:
How can you say that! it's BECAUSE OF WARIO that we didn't get Doctor Mario alt, a REAL Daisy alt, Mr. L alt, Naked DK alt, Capless Diddy, Magic Armor Link/Ordon Getup/Zora Armor and so on...

Thanks Wario. Thanks alot:mad:

*Because* of Wario? No. Without Wario, there wouldn't be any of those other costumes anyway. I hope you weren't serious...

Blue sHell, I have question:
How does one deal with the incessant taunting by the rest of the crew for playing Wario?

I don't have enough footage of myself yet for a combo/compilation vid :urg:

We are filming more matches tonight for smashboards though, so stay tuned.

Simply put:

Fart on them.
