Your idea for a SWF taunt is a good idea for "With Friends", but when you play "With Anyone" you can't have messages for your taunts. This is why we have decided to crouch twice when playing "With Anyone".

Probably. 2 that it's noticable (in case you don't the first one in the beginning) and quick so that you don't get behind in the match.

March 23: Double crouching becomes an instant hit and communication between Smashboard(ians) is stronger than ever.

July 17: Smashboards becomes more like it did before Brawl was mentioned. (organized and user friendly)
