Do you guys think that we will be able to upload replays of your matches to Miiverse or Youtube, similar to Mario Kart TV?

I Hope so, but on the same hand, I just bought an elgato game capture device and this feature would make my purchase meaningless! lol - well I guess I can still stream the game I suppose!
but back on topic, I hope the awful brawl replay system doesn't make a return. Awful because you could only save a video that was under 3 minutes. Hopefully they will allow you save various replays without a time limit. I'm thinking if they allow you to upload them to miiverse or youtube it'll have to be a under 3 minutes.

I would imagine so. Every major Nintendo game is putting Miiverse to use now, and posting replays would be a more exciting use than say announcing which trophies you earned. Mario Kart 8 did it pretty well too, so there is no reason why Smash couldn't.

I have an Elgato so even Brawl style replays will be fine, but I do hope they take a page from MK8's book. And I definitely hope the photo camera and replay camera has more freedom.

Something like Call of Duty's Theater Mode (Did I mention COD? I did.) would be nice. Being able to cut and splice footage. As well as camera angles.

Position yourself off screen so an enemy being KOed flies straight at the camera.

Unlimited replay length has memory consumption drawbacks, but three minutes definitely seems too short.

Deleting has benefits. :p
I'm more concerned with the memory consumed by the inevitable attempt by someone to record his 99-stock .5 damage ratio 4-way FFA on Wily's Castle and complaining that an unlimited-length replay option should allow something that risks out-sizing the game itself.

Basically, while memory management is possible for all but the most technologically challenged of players, I don't think we'd need anything longer than a 10-minute replay. OR, even better, when saving a replay, let players scrub across the video and select highlights to save. In most cases, people aren't interested in the entire match, anyway.

Yeh. A limit would be necessary. 5-year olds get out of hand.

Especially if they implement some sort of uploading system to Miiverse.

Of course, my very favoritest thing about Smash is watching a ten-year old beat a level 1 CPU to death by Kirbyciding while his friend stands on the other side of the stage spamming You're Too Slow taunts.

Better yet is when you come across those people in a Wi-Fi match.

You're too sl- NO.

The few times I bothered with Brawl's wifi, those got a giant fiery falcon in their face. I didn't play much wifi after that.

Basically, especially with Miiverse implementations, I think replays should be saved for cool combos or tournament replays, not for just anything.

There needs to be a way to bump videos, have a Most Popular page.

I hope there is a decent enough way figured out to replay parts of matches, because sometimes stuff gets pretty awesome
