I've had a really laid back life so far, but if I really try I probably won't have a hard time keeping up in College.

Emphasis on probably.

To be serious, it's not that hard after first year, once you get used to it.

The part that makes me cry that I have no discipline or courage the take on higher level classes.

be prepared to procisnate every day like me and do some works at midnight. I always goes to sleep at 3 am, I will wake up at 7 am on mon, wed, and fri and 8 am on tues and thurs.

I was lucky to get classes that don't start until 12-1PM.

It's so nice for staying up late working on homework.

Same thing as this, but add in obsessing over a fictional dinosaur and a certain anime...

Between the composer denying war crimes, Square Enix being super uncooperative and them trying to shill a franchise that has never been popular overseas via DLC, I can easily say Dragon Quest content in Smash is a hard pass from me.

Define 'popular'. Because even in the West DQ still outsells a few franchises currently in Smash.

You can get away with writing about just about anything in college if you try hard enough. I did a whole paper comparing elements of the Legend of Zelda series with themes from the Dao Dejing and it was a blast.

• Recategorize the SMW overworld themes to the Yoshi series.
• Restore Melee’s DK rap. And restore some of the oddly-cut victory themes like Yoshi’s

Funny how the college kids are uniting this week because a ton of nonsense is going on for us right now
Had a sales pitch today, marketing research final and strategic management final tomorrow. So I obviously should be sleeping but alas, here I am.

BUT TYING THIS BACK INTO SMASH

this week has gone by so quick bc of how busy everything has been...
I’m torn on what to do first...I think I want to run through classic modes...but then I also am gonna be itching to play WOL...? And then practice to hopefully make it to elite smash.
Literally Smash Friday is the TRUE light at the end of the tunnel haha

It's actually Yu Yu Hakusho. It was on Toonami when I was 12 and got super pissed when that initial run stopped RIGHT at the start of the Togeru Tournament Battle...

At the same time, there's a difference between being laid back and being lazy.

Being laid back (referred to as having a Type B personality) actually lends itself more to success than being anxious and worried as you react better to stressors in your environment. I'm personally a pretty laid back person, and while I do procrastinate, I also manage to get my work done and accept that my work is my work, and any flaws are my own to be fixed for the next one. No use working myself up into a tizzy when I can channel that energy to do better next time. I'm also able to bounce back better from negative events in my life, so there are certainly perks to being laid back.

Worst part in the college like that you can get some boring class that can make you sleep and will likely get punished for sleeping in the class.

I got freshman seminar and it was ****ing boring, really wasting my time right away that I want to use for entire morning on every friday. Thankfully, it just ended few weeks back. I even got caught almost sleeping in one of my classes that sent me to my advisor right away.

For me I cannot wait to dive right into WoL. Event was my favorite mode in Melee and this just looks like that plus a tiny story and hundreds of battles. Plus stuff like the skill tree and weapon triangle excites me. I also can't wait to see what everyone's Classic looks like.

Yes!! The classic themes are so fun, and I haven’t seen any of the characters I have attachments too theme yet...so I am really excited for that!
Also somehow didn’t spoil any of the (brief may it be)story for myself for WOL except a few minor minor things so I’m so pumped

College teachers largely don't care what you do during lecture, or at least mine do. I breezed through Pre-Calculus occasionally paying attention but mainly playing Fire Emblem Heroes and browsing Reddit.

I took Pre-Calculus in High School though, so don't be like me. Pay attention in your classes and actually learn.

From the Yoshi series. Which had the SMW songs in Sm4sh.

Dragon Quest is definitely popular worldwide. Let's not kid ourselves. That said, the composer is an asshole. Which might not mean much if they're trying to get DQ content. It's just a matter of licensing and how much they have to pay and if it's worth it.

SE being uncooperative is really the only thing that remotely makes DQ content unlikely. The other two are not actual factors when it comes to licensing.

But SMW music isnt Yoshi music. SMW isnt a yoshi game, Yoshis Island is a Yoshi game. SMW is a Mario game
