Smash Journeyman
its true. whether its the rapid rising footstool off a grounded teamates' noggin or a midair bounce, this is the one technique that will really distinguish those who are truly "in tune" with the new game mechanics.
esp. cool scenario:
i, ness, knock pika in his fat electric face with my corked bat. he flies east, i pursue, rapidly Hugging the ledge. my teamate breaks from his opponent and footstools off me (remember im holding the ledge. i dont get knocked downward, he gets a decent footstool and has his second jump and has great positioning to intercept the recovering pikachu. i can ledgehop a fair and hopefully catch the other opponent as he approaches.)
considering how nearly everyone can recover just from air control alone, i think everyone really needs to start playing with the friendly fire footstool
oh, and is this technique not going to end up our favorite way to gimp scrubs in 1-2 years? it's seriously like a universal shine when used off stage. trouble comes with finding a way to not get Uaired
