I don't see why not considering they took a month to print the game, and most stores seem to be receiving several shipments before release, not just one.

Haven't you asked this question (or a similar one) before?

Wow... If there weren't any copies left for me (I still need to preorder, not sure if I still can.), I'd be in an awkward position. <_< Everyone having it and me not having one... would make things awkward for me.

I preordered my back in August. I was the first one to preorder it at my Gamestop.:) I'll get it at midnight, after I win the tournament and get a free copy of Brawl. That means I'll have two copies of Brawl. I'll wait until it is very hard to find and and then I'll sell the second copy on Ebay.

why do people worry so much? it is a game, not a system, games are easier to manufacture and are mass-produced and shipped. if you pre-ordered it then you will be fine and you will get a copy.

The game was delayed a month so more copies could be printed. I don't think you should have any problems. But I reserved it just in case.

Unless Sears does actually send me a copy early... I have it on release day. An extra day won't kill me though.

I preordered it at two game stores.

I don't know why I did it, but it turned out to be beneficial.

The Gamestop I ordered (And paid off) the game at won't be having a midnight release, but the OTHER store will!

There probably won't be too short a supply, because, as discussed above, there have been multiple shipments. Oh yeah, and ICANTCOUNT, your preorder statement was sig-worthy for me.

That's almost sig worthy. XD

But seriously, preordering is your best bet in getting the game. So I suggest that you find a sure fire way of finding before the launch. That or go wait to purchase the game early in the morning.
Yep, I'm waking up March 9th, at 7am, then, I will walk to Target, and wait until it opens. I'm worried, cause brawl isn't listed on the website. I was also planning on going with a friend, but that blew up, because he is grounded. So i'm going alone. But I'll be walking out of Target, head down, for i have no brawl.

I hope they don't run out of copies. I preordered mine a few weeks ago, and nothing is going to stop me from getting it. Only downside is that I have to work the day I go pick up the game(which is next week),unless I can ask my boss to give me the day off.

Yeah, Nintendo would be a fool not to make 31,337+ copies per *insert short amount of time* for this game.

Preordered, paid in full, so I can just walk in on March 9th with my receipt, and go home right away.

Well since there was a delay for a month to make more copies, I wouldn't worry. Not to mention with the large amount of people preordering, that just means there is that many more normal stock copies avaliable. Though, once you get it, it really won't matter if it was preordered or not.

I preordered from the internet. The only drawback is that I have to wait 6 days after the release because of shipping time (my parents wouldn't let me get the overnight shipping) :( . At least I know for sure that I'll get it.

I certainly hope there are enough stocks. I live in asia and we use the NA version as well. If there are shortages in NA, I will suffer too. Didn't sakurai said that there would be enough to go around?

The way I see it, if everyones getting there copies at GS & EB, then fewer people will be getting their copies at normal stores like Best Buy, Curcuit City, Target, & Wal-Mart, so if GS & EB sell out, the others will have them.

I'm going to Best Buy and waiting there about an hour before it opens on that Sunday. It's not going to run out within 7 minutes of me stepping in the store will it?

I paid in full already to my local gaming store. Unfortunately, they didn't know if they're getting it march 9th or 10th. I suppose I might be able to stand one day of waiting. Maybe I'll cry in the corner.

I doubt they will be out in seven minutes. however, best buy has stoped taking preorders.
Seeing that brawl sold 1 million copies by feb 10th and that the NA market is just bigger, that NOA has prepared accordingly, delay, I wouldn't worry. even if they do sell out they will restock very quickly.

Your "best buy stopping preorders" part scared me a bit, as that's where I'm planning on purchasing, lol. But I'm not worried. I'm sure MANY people will me able to find a copy without pre-ordering. As said countless times, games rarely sell out, if ever.

Unless you live in a small town or something...

3) Become me and have one of your best friends be the manager of your local Gamestop =P

I have heard with gamestop that if your pre ordered game is sold out by the time you come to pick it up (within 2 days of release) it is free, so if it is sold out, it should be worth it.
