-Although the Seamtress grabs onto Sprig and quickly manages to throw him off onto the ground as well, Sprig manages to tear off the head making up the "face" and top of the Seamstress' skin suit. After reaching for the now missing top of her suit in confusion for a few seconds, the removal of it causes the rest of her skin suit to fall down, revealing that the Seamtress' own skin to be translucent, making her skeleton and internal organs visible-
-Ivy and Sprig are shocked, while the Seamtress, speaking with a tone of disgust towards her own appearance, shouts "Don't...look at meeeeeeeeeee!" before trying to cover her face-

He holds no grudge against them as long as they don't interfere with his own plan of exterminating all life, and has no reason to waste his time or resources on trying to eliminate them when they're not alive or trying to put a stop to him. Besides, given what else he's been shown to be capable of, if he really merely wanted soldiers, he likely could've put most of them under mind control just by them being in the general vicinity of him-
-On the other hand...the only common goal The Lich has with Epimendes is that he'd want to kill Sothis, just the same as any other living creatures or entities. He wouldn't plan on sparing the rest of the population of Fodlan-

-...Of course, since the Seamstress has still killed countless innocent frogs in cold blood and worn their skin and was about to kill the duo themselves for the same reason, Ivy only has a small amount of sympathy for the Seamstress and decides to turn that moment into a distraction to to take her down, shouting "SPRIG, NOW!" before hopping over the Seamstress while trapping her head and arms with her hat, while Sprig wordlessly agrees and breaks the Seamstress' lantern on the floor, declaring "Let's burn this baby to the ground!"-
(...Just like when Hop Pop defeated that talking mushroom parasite.)

With Ivy having willingly left one of her caps behind in order to give them a fighting a chance, it's apparent that she's mostly gotten over her dislike of her hair, and Sprig even warmly compliments her by saying "You look good without the hat. I mean it..." Moved, Ivy half-sarcastically tells him "Aw, shut up, you!" before giving Sprig another kiss on the cheek. The story seems to end with them running back to Wartwood, happily laughing-

He was too nice! Literally! Back then, he was so averse to actually seriously injuring anyone or killing literally anything that had he actually joined the Royal Guard, he would've been torn to little smiling shreds by the first real enemy he encountered! He's gotten a little wiser and more realistic since then, but back then there was no way to convince him to avoid mercy even when it was clear there'd be no other option. That's actually why he got into cooking and making spaghetti in specific. I figured he'd just be in danger if I actually let him join the Royal Guard, so I tried to persuade him and help him in another field he was passionate about that was safer.
...Unlike with combat, though, he uh, kinda had to learn how to cook on his own. At least without destroying the kitchen or making undercooked spaghetti.
