LOL Feel free to do ANYTHING to me, now that Brawl's come out, I know better....

Did you know it took me TWO YEARS to realize that there was a bat on the Home-Run Contest Stage?

I call shenanigans. Theres just no way. Its TITILED Home Run Contest, so you would automatically assume that there was a Home Run Bat involved in some way.

Plus, its kinda hard to miss. Unless you're blind.

Same xD. But I think we're forgetting the possibility that Meta-Kirby failed to realise there was a "Stadium" section for two years, thus meaning he didn't know of HRC and that oh-so-elusive bat.

Edit: Then again, many a year ago for some time I thought the Yoshi 64 stage was a myth...

Ok, there is no way I'm lying here. I'd usually just attack with a powered-up Side Smash, or the Falcon/Warlock Punch to get it maybe 200 Ft. Trust me, I was really REALLY relieved to finally notice a bat there, I mean, it sort of blends with the background.

Looool. That's pretty talented.
I'm pretty sure I always knew it was there, but the first few times I couldn't figure out how to smash with it >>;

It took me about three months to figure out the bat was there myself. The first time I remember I was Samus, and I grabbed it and smashed with it on accident while trying to do a forward smash. Next thing I knew *ping* IT'S A NEW RECORD!!!

I was exactly the same, I heard people get such high amount of metres and I was all like O_O.

You're right, it does blend into the background. I feel the same way as you

I understand the original poster.

I was very young, so I never really understood how to look at a game. I thought there was nothing there, so I just used DK, grabbed the bag, and walked as far as I could. And besides, the excitement to getting a new Smash Brothers game affected me for half a year. So one day we decided that we wanted to set a "world record" and get into the book of records (Again, I was very young) for the best Smash Home Run Contest players. That's when we found the bat and started beating ourselves up.

lol, when I first got Melee and started doing home run contest, I decided that I would just do it with every character once and then go back and try to beat all my old records. About halfway through I noticed the bat. I was disappointed because then I had to start over, lol.

You can grab the sandbag in Melee, while you can't in brawl.

Your lying. No one that stupid could manage to type legibly. Or figure out how to turn on a Gamecube.
I wouldn't say that, but really dude that's not possible. If you forget you selected invisible melee and yell 'where the heck is everyone?!!' that's ok but you cant enter a home run contest and not see the bat!! Worse things have happened to me though......
