Alright, as many of you know, Sakurai has claimed there are a handful of newcomer trailers left before they're all gone. Personally, I always considered a handful as 3-5.
Let's go off the assumption that were a total of 5 left when he made that Miiverse post. We've gotten the Robin/Lucina/Falcon trailer since then, so that would leave 4.
Here are my predictions as to the grouping of these reveal trailers (Since in the past they have revealed multiple characters, like the E3 2013 Trailer, Robin Trailer and Greninja Trailer)
NOTE: I'm obviously basing some of my speculation off of the Gematsu leak, so bear with me if you think that Shulk and Chorus Kids aren't coming
#1 The Katsuya Yamano Trailer
Katsuya Yamano leads Nintendo's Production Group 1, most renowned for making WarioWare and Rhythm Tengoku/Rhythm Heaven. As of Game & Wario, the WarioWare series now even has the same art style as the RH games.
This leads me to believe that Marshal from Rhythm Heaven will have a trailer that also features Wario from the WarioWare series as a veteran.
On top of this, however, I think the trailer will also confirm Mr. Game & Watch (which may make this the last trailer shown before release, but who knows).
My reasoning behind this is that in Rhythm Heaven Fever there are numerous Game & Watch characters in the background as well as characters that look very similar to that of Mr. Game & Watch in the Pac-Man announcement trailer.
See for yourself (and notice how the limbs on both G&W and the RH character are very thin with an emphasis on the circle hands and large feet):
This could be pure coincidence or me seeing something from nothing, but I find G&W's redesign to stand out too much not to notice the parallel
#2 The JRPG Trailer
Quite simple, this one. The trailer would have Shulk, Ness and Lucas. They all fit thematically, as RPG characters with many mystical elements. Not a whole lot to explain here, I think it's kind of the obvious choice.
#3 The Retro Trailer
Now I'm admittedly not very sure what could be happening in the trailer to bring these three together, but it would make all too much sense to have R.O.B., Ice Climbers and newcomerTakamaru all in the same trailer as retro throwbacks. Takamaru is heavily requested, has been in several new games since Brawl (Captain Rainbow, Samurai Warriors 3, Nintendoland, etc) and his original appearance, The Mysterious Murasame Castle, is getting released for the first time in North America on the 3DS eShop soon, so this could be part of a planned franchise revival a la Kid Icarus (though I think it's been stated that that wasn't planned during Brawl's development, however my point still stands). Sukapon from Joy Mech Fight
#4 The Finale: Villain Trailer
So this is a pretty commonly speculated idea as well. Have an epic CGI battle between two fierce Nintendo villains, Wolf and Ganondorf. As they throw punches and generally do Smash Brothers-esque stuff, eventually another evil comes down from the skies, ready to make his long awaited debut as a playable character in the Super Smash Bros. series:
King K. Rool Ridley
Anyone else have ideas about what future trailers may hold?
