Also we played at TIMS after you took over for Doomshroom. We did a Sheik vs Jiggs on FD and a Jiggs ditto on Mute City and I played really gay both times o.o :[

Hey smash MO, I live in the Florissant/Hazelwood area of St. Louis. I moved here a few months ago from Louisiana, and I'm still kinda getting used to it.
I've only been able to play melee with one person for a while, and it gets boring. He's really not interested in getting better.
I'm looking for new people to hang out with, is there anyone around here?

This is the correct thread to post in and subscribe to.

Everything we host is open and pretty informal. For Melee, smashfests happen in University City/Clayton (Wash U) area and are usually on Fridays and are pretty small and informal (5 or 6 people in somebody's dorm/apartment) and and and have lots of run-on sentences. For Brawl they are in the St. Charles area and happen every Tuesday night. Those ones are super serial and generally have 6-10 people.

Also as I mentioned I think you actually might live pretty close to a few smashers who might play with you, but Legan is the only one who really plays Melee and he's kinda like a celebrity so I dunno if he could find time to play in between all the drugs he has to do and women he has to bang.

Dunno what else I was gonna say...

At any rate, like Nuris said, for Melee, you will want to talk to Toga or Geno or Nuris and they happen usually on Fridays or Saturdays around the Delmar Loop area or Clayton.

Brawl happens at my apartment every week on Tuesday at 5pm in St. Peters (St. Charles) right by Mid Rivers Mall.

The last Kakuna Matata that I went to was fun, maybe we could house with Wangston again? That guy is super cool. I'd be much more down for Kakuna Matata 3 than the other tournament.

I'm sure anyone who plays Bowser, Ganon (and more importantly), Kirby, or DDD all suicide KO people from time to time. I doubt the guys running this tournament were like, WOAH, MetalMusicMan might be attending our tournament, and he's like, super good and we want him to not win. I hear he plays DDD 1 out of every 10 matches, so like, let's totally make up a rule to set off his gaydar, and that way he won't come and we'll have a chance of winning or something. <3
