Is st. louis having any smashfest coming up? I'd like to get some games in with non-drunk Future.

The Chicago tournament sounds awesome, I'd carpool with you guys. I can't make it to Counts tournament though.

I doubt that Chicago tourney will have much entrants. If you guys want to go to a good IL tourney then Dont Blink and MAS are the best ones. Also IL is definitely going to get a car going to ISA.

^Yeah they seem to get the best turnout but the next one is on a date when Iowa is supposed to host their regional event (looks like that might not happen though lol).

idk zoze we play a lot mostly on tuesdays still i dont usually drink

The chicago tourney sounds legit...plus its chicago. It already has the advantage over indy


Maybe im just saying this because i could go to the chicago one (august 6th) and NOT the indy one (august 14th)

i knew it was bad. i knew it was terrible. my brother (who is 25) called me crying after he was walking out of the theater.

but yeah, i was too afraid to actually watch it myself until now. and now im sad.





he must be stopped....

FYI guys, tomorrow is my last day in Columbia... we need to get together and do something :( I know everyone was busy (myself included) but I feel I didn't get to spend enough time with my StL buddies :(

So seriously, hit me up guys, I want to get on the bus on monday with a hangover lol. Or at least with a hearty helping of smash :p

also i love only being able to go to sleep in periods of like 2 hours wtf

I'm posting before 9am on a Sunday so most of this will be senseless.

Smash with Lixi was cool. He got to meet my new kitten who tried to eat both of our controllers at the same time.

Daniel should not chug a redbull and call me as soon as he reads my yearly post, especially since he ends up not being able pick up his phone when we actually invite him to smash with us.

BTW did you guys know that Brinstar is in special encrypted code and you have to reload the disc every time you want to play there? Lixi and I hacked it.

We also discovered a new glitch on Brinstar where the acid burns you even when it's clearly below the stage :mad:

Edit: There is no way I can spend a weekend going to Springfield/Peoria to Smash. Sorry but you guys are going to have to come here.

I've heard so many bad things about it...which is sad, because I loved the series, and felt the movie had a lot of potential. I haven't seen it yet, and am wary to do so. But in the end, I will probably end up seeing it.

Stupid director is stupid.

Also, David if we go get some people to
go to either of those, I may be down to drive depending on how far they are.

I saw Inception and really liked it. There were some parts I didn't like, but overall I thought it was pretty great.

i played in a tournament today
lost one, won one, lost one. the first one i lost was reeeeally close and the guy ended up getting third. the other one i lost was worse. binyan made me pretty good against peach, but i need spacies practice.

It's already been established that I'm pretty much the only one here. I don't know if you guys want to drive all the way from Alton just to play with me for a couple of hours. If so I will find some time next weekend for you guys (including Random if he comes)

Edit: Actually Zach is here too I guess but he didn't pick up his phone last I called

i need spacies practice more than i need practice against sheik. there are a lot of decent spacies here, so hopefully i will get to play more and rock out with my rooster out.

I've never understood all of the mods for brawl to try to make it more like melee. If you want to play melee...just play melee.

Inception was really good and I swear if I hear somebody else say "I didn't like it because it was like the Matrix" im gonna slap them
