*checks several post above* Holy crap, it's almost synonymous. Well, I can't help but have my own taste. With all due respect to the people who voted for Battle Scene/Final Boss, it just really doesn't fit the atmosphere of the stage for me.

How the **** does Golden Sun not fit and Norfair does?

Norfair sounds like some slow paced tropical tune.

I'm the only one whos gonna say this, but
Best: Norfair
Somehow, it just works. It shouldn't, and its not the best remake of Norfair Nintendo has done, but still its a good brawling song somehow.

Worst: Main Theme (Metroid)
That voice just annoys me too much

-It starts out good and then it just falls flat. Disappointing.

Theme of Samus Aran is a close second. I don't much like Norfair, but I absolutely DESPISE that voice acting at the beginning of the Main Theme. Every time I hear "Samus is under fire! Join the fight!" I feel like I'm watching some cheesy space movie.

Best: Marionation Gear (I love mostly all of Norfair's music, but this one was unexpeted and cool, so I'll give it a vote. Also, while I currently havn't looked at what other people have said, I bet one of my other favorites, the Golden Sun music, is winning. (Don't get me wrong, I also love the Metroid music in this stage too))

Worst: Ending (Metroid). (This one just doesn't stand out compared to the others.)

EDIT: People are bashing the main theme because a guy talks in the begining? That seems kinda dumb. =/

Best: Main Metroid Theme (I can get over that lame announcer guy thanks to the mute button)
Worst: Marionation (doesn't stand out at all)

I don't see the big deal about the Golden Sun theme, it doesn't sound like there's a real melody to it.

Best: Main Theme, I got over the announcer dude because his voice doesn't loop through the song, so it's OK sacrificing the opening of a fight to bad voice acting.

Alright, our best was what many predicted (including me) to be Battle Scene/Final Boss (Golden Sun).

Again however, we have a tie for worst between Main Theme (Metroid) and ironically, Norfair. I'll be back after I count the votes for my other thread to see if anyone broke the tie

Best: Icicle Mountain (Melee)
Worst: Shin Onigashima/Clu Clu Land/Balloon Trip (All equally terrible and don't fit with the stage at all.)

Music these days has become a product to buy and sell, schools should make it more important... And this comes from someone who listens to things like Amadeus Wolfgang Mozart to 80's Metallica.

and btw someone said crappy guitar work, i like clu clu land, what a great listener, Shin Onigashima has keyboards/pianos too.

I like the piano in CluClu land though but after the piano it gets dull, its the same thing over and over again...

Worst:
Ballon trip, its more like acid trip...
