_____________ up until now.

does not mean

_____________, up until now.

That comma makes a difference.

But there is no way I am getting into that argument again.

? Come again.
Well you said, as of now you accept there is no DLC for Brawl...
But hoping for it in the future is kinda like a double edged sword in a way...
Eh, you know what? forget my comment it made no sense anyways XD

I personally think tat within a year, we will have DLC. Until Aoyama or iwata confirms or deconfirms DLC for Brawl, I say it'll happen. I've learned that Sakurai is merely an image, he doesn't know a thing.

Exactly, which is why-F*CK. I AM NOT DOING THIS AGAIN.
Why what? By English grammar what he said would literally mean that Ness is gone either you like it or not.

I dunno, I've kinda lost my respect for Sakurai overtime. While he is a great developer, he seems to enjoy lying a lot about the game. And not just his usual antics but actual lies that make you think he's a prick. Either that or he's ignorant about things like the meaning of "up until now" and its common usage and, most recently, DLC on the Wii.

FINALLY someone with actual sense. While chances of DLC are extremely low its nice to know someone who can actually look at the facts and jump to a more logical conclusion.

To Luke_Groundwalker. Agreed, I've Only seen Wang (who I personally don't listen to or understand) and DarkShadowRage who's one comment caused him to confuse HIMself among others.

quick question... if you would have asked the director/developer of super metroid game if he would include dlc in his game he would prob. say no and call you crazy but now nintendo has decided to use dlc for extra content for games so if they came out with new content for super metroid well then was the director/developer of the metroid game lying to you?> this is an example>

nope the fact is nintendo is a gaming company. the point of a company is to make money and If they decide to make more money with brawl then they would be stupid not to include dlc for it. Nintedo is now going to charge for online play with certain games it was only a matter of time and will only be a matter of time before they start putting up dlc for brawl or games like brawl.

I find it odd that nintendo would boast adding dlc to games But not include it in one of their more popular games.

This leads me to believe there will be dlc for brawl not necessarily right now but maybe later.

NO.

That is not what Sakurai is lying (or being ignorant) about.

The fact that Sakurai is completely wrong about the Wii's capabilities and suggesting DLC would be impossible is what's wrong here.

While you got technical proof plus this recent announcement to say otherwise.

I really don't understand how this could be deconfirmed any more than it is now.

The creator of the game directly says no twice.

Do you need him to say it a third time?

Can you say "false hope"?

Lol, guys. Sakurai directly said no twice. So there's no Krystal, no Roy, and no "Mewtwo-chan".

It's over.
Dragon Wang you seem like a pretty experienced poster, youve been here since november of 2007 and you have 459 posts surely you must have seen all the ness, krystal, megaman etc. hope threads and i bet you shot those down as well, but haven't you learned by now that if there is even a teensy amount of chance for something to happen people WILL NOT GIVE UP HOPE because THERE IS A CHANCE no matter how small it may be.You should have realized this by now; seriously you remind me of a barking dog trying to chase its tail over and over again, never realizing that its simply out of reach, and that it is not another dog. It is you who has to give up on trying to shoot peoples hopes down.

It seems to be the nature of most of his posts.

After thinking about it, I have realized something. Suppose DLCs come to be. You download one or two, then head to WiFi and choose Random. Now, by chance, the person you are about to fight has not downloaded the character(s) you have. You choose said character and commence with the battle. Since your opponent has not downloaded the character, and therefore their Brawl Game Disk does not contain any information or data concerning the character, your character could not appear on their television screen.

Well the creator of the game is also a liar about the Wii's capabilities which is just mind-boggling to me.

ALL developers working on a Wii game should know that the Wii can handle DLC period.

I don't do it because I feel that I can stop it.

I do it because it's fun.

So should WE give up hope through reverse psychology only to be hit by a double negative of having our hopes dashed AGAIN and letting Wang win?

AND I COMPLETELY AGREE!!!!

how could he make a game for a system that he 'supposedly' knows little about?!?!

that was my first indication that he was lying

my second is that he is an unreliable source, nintendo is a reliable source and thats why they keep their mouths shut lol

It isn't worth it. If you are around when the time I was very anti-Ness (still am today, he's a ****ty character choice for Brawl) and claimed that because of Ness being said to be out on the DOJO, that it's a complete fact and truth. I did it mostly for the lulz like you're trying to do right now.

Guess what? Turned out Sakurai lied.

So yes, Sakurai can NOT be completely trusted. And quite honestly you're gonna get the worst feedback and you'll feel like a complete fool for trusting Sakurai's words if what you claim to be non-existent and impossible turns out to be real.
