I've been playing Sheik fairly infrequently lately, but I don't think I'm going to stop maining Sheik. Falco is too fun.

i can play sheik for hours if it's against alternating competition that's really good
Yeah, same, if I have good competition I can, but when it's someone that I can beat with my other characters I'd just rather play them, and I figure it's because I think they're more fun? :(

I will never stop maining sheik tho, but I'd love her to be as fun as she was when I started playing XD

I got over my depression... I wanna play sheik :( now. I wish there was some universal law which said that you always have someone to play smash with ;_;

i usually only switch from sheik when i feel like its just abuse.

ie vs falcon or sheik dittos

i mean, i like playing chain-grabbalb mu's w/o chaingrab, but when i know the mu is simply not fun from the other party and i can tell they arent learning anything, i switch to marth or falco

at least with falco i know ill die a lot so the other person can feel better about himself

It's dumb because half the time with noobs they'll be like, "Yo, no CG."

So you respond with, "Uhh, sure."

Then halfway into the match you're up 3-1 or whatever so they start doing it to catch up. Or they always do it at low percent when they can't link d-throw > dash attack and I'm like, "What are you doing?"

And their argument is something like, "It's not gay if I only do it a little bit. Three regrabs isn't much."

And it just creates stupidity.

Uair is an amazing combo move, if hard to land the initial hit (I tend to get it tech chasing through platforms). You can get ******** strings like Uair -> DJ Uair -> land on top platform and tilt -> Uair -> DJ Fair on mid percent falcons etc. It pops them up just so that your DJ will allow you to hit them again, so I often think of it as a quicker alternative to Dair (though Dair's longer hitbox gives it other good uses).

Without the broken Dthrow, we were hardly going to get a load of set ups into it on floaty characters anyway, and it still can be used as an opportunistic killer and to poke at people above you.

Uair is indeed great even in PAL, I find it useful to throw at spacies that try to jump around at platforms

I'm really bad as well, but just recently I've tried copying KK and using it on fast fallers (though I'm finding it does have a use at lower percents on Marth etc) to pop them up for another hit. People are starting to do the same with Dair, but sometimes, you can't afford the delay of going above them and falling a move onto them, and Uair allows you to push them up so you can DJ and hit them again quickly. It's actually really easy to do, but a bit situational, so it's hard to practice.

Next time you Uthrow a fast faller onto a low platform and read their tech, rahter than going straight for a fair/nair, try uairing as soon as you full jump and hit them again.

Gets an extra 10% in PAL (12% in NTSC), which could score the extra percent to help get the kill. It also looks awesome.

I think I like uair through platforms because it allows you to poke-and-run fairly easily. I've previously been doing that largely with bair but I like the possibilities for combos at moderate levels of damage.

Played quite a few sheik dittos with Android, Armadas younger brother yesterday. Really fun matchup as always. :)

I like KOs by soft hits

Man I wish I can play the PAL version :(
It's funny when you get stuff like uair --> poof kill when there's a really small ceiling =p, but sometimes I really wish I had more strong KO options.
