I think they should of made the practice arena a little different like who ever is ready should be playing together so they can learn there opponent, you should be playing on the stage that you will be playing on, items, and it shouldnt be a sandbag maybe a cpu that fights back. These are just some ideas if you have anymore post them here ;)

but then it would lag in the practice arena if you had a bad connection with someone...which probably wouldn't be that bad because you could tell before the match whether or not you wanted to play in lag.

you should be playing on the stage that you will be playing on,
they don't have everyone's votes yet so there isn't a decided stage yet!

and it shouldnt be a sandbag maybe a cpu that fights back.
agreed. i wouldn't be annoyed by the sandbag if you could actually grab it and it suffered hitlag.

If you change the Online Practice Stage, you can't pick it in a battle with hacks. For example, if you change it to WarioWare and have a code that lets you pick Online Practice Stage by picking random, you end up in WarioWare instead. That means I'm stuck on Online Practice Stage. <_<

ability to choose what music plays. I get really sick of the music on the practice stage... X(

oh and make the sandbag a CPU, not being able to throw it is pretty annoying...

i didn't...

getting practice stage in random select set or something?
It's a hack for brawl, you need to first have a program called Ocarina on your wii then enable it....this matters not, don't worry about it, trust me. Volt7x makes a point though, it's a sweet map to play on without the crappy music.

I think the practice stage is fine as it is. There is a certain challenge when you don't know the style of your opponent. The challenge shows who is better by how they can adapt to the unknown. It is like in boxing. The boxer warms up with a punching bag before the match, not his or her opponent.

I know right it's like should I be wearing a sombrero or something, jus chillin' w/sandbag. I have a pretty good take down with Marth: fa fa fs (tipped) -> dancing blade -> da and it works well on characters too but only mid-large sized ones..

i think that they should have had more than one sandbag.
lol

put seriously, they should have added platforms.
so you can warm up/practice combos that required platforms to be able to do.

The practice stage is better than nothing. It does get boring after a while though. Getting Sandbag with a ken combo loses its enjoyment pretty quick.

i think the practice arena should be spectating the match that is busy and only when you are all getting ready for the match the practice arena should be there

I think the practice arena should have better music. I cant combo (lolcomboZ in brawl?!) the sandbag to mellow music.

It would be helpful to get to know your opponent, but that's what the first match is for. However, I do wish you could see what character your opponents picks while your in the practice stage.

I personally like the practice arena... well more than waiting without doing anything for sure. If it would put your opponents in it or if it was on a real stage, it would kind of be pointless, I mean I think the idea is to not have a super laggy stage so there are no effects and no opponents so you can practice and have the real stage load, they're already laggy in the first place most of the time.

I'm fine with the practice stage.
If you have hacks, you can make the practice stage a lot less boring. :chuckle:

That would be great but too bad Sukuari hates that kind of stuff.

You should be able to choose the stage of practice, choose who you fight (i.e. sandbag or cpus) and have all the options you would find in training mode.

I personally think the waiting room would be better if there was some better music. =3
And if you can actually Grab the Sandbag plus attacks will cause hitstun. Also they shoulda made it a choice to make a sandbag or a character that does not move (like training) for those who prefer the latter. Also the training in the waiting room has no lag so it hardly even helps you warm up that much anyway.

They could give us the option to play mario bros and other nintendo games while waiting...
practice against a sandbag is the same of nothing to me...
