SWD assistance needed please...

i know there is mass amounts of info in relation to this technique...
and i have tried like a million times to do it but i havent even been able to do it once yet...
so my questions are...

1. is there someone that can help with the timing... like is there a slight change in animation that mite give me some indication on when to slap the control stick to the other side...

2. i have the PAL version of the game and i was wonderin is this still possible in the pal version or was it a glitch that was cleared up in time to not be featured in pal...?

But for your questions, this is the advice I have given (yes, it works in PAL):

You can do it in any version. It's not how many tries, it's whether or not you happen to get it.

When you are first learning to SWD, the best way is to hold the opposite direction, and then smash towards the direction you want to SWD in. People have suggested the following for perfecting the timing:

• Samus' roll in morph form is uneven, she wobbles a little bit. Try flicking the control stick on the 3rd wobble
• try it when Samus' shadow returns under Samus
• try it when you otherwise could've dropped another bomb

If you see the "dash smoke" and you didn't move anywhere, then you flicked the control stick too early. If you dash out of morph ball or crouch, then you flicked the control stick too late.

I did a SWD once, but I looked away when it happened. I looked back and found myself halfway across the stage boy was I pissed >.>

I have to agree with Mars, it is all about the practice. It's all about figuring out the timing for yourself and then working from there.

ive seen the skills thats for sure...

i can do it about 40% of the time now...
i oculdnt do it i think because i would hold down afterwards, and ive herd that recks your swd, but im no samus pro...
