And pirate bomb's shrapnel doesn't go as far as modern grenades.


It would likely damage a single Ice climber if they separate, not both.

And one of them is strong enough to handle peach alone.

If find it funny how you completely ignore the bird that's just a tall as the IC's.

The seals were also just as tall as the IC's.

They chose the simplistic art style which didn't require sizing. Everything is horribly propotioned.

This still only creates a "maybe they are adults" aspect. Smash still says otherwise. That they're kids.

They are almost as big as humans when flying.

Just cause they are unrealistic by being there doesn't give you the right to nit-pick by taking them out of the equation.

Birds, short Yeti's and vegetables are all the size of the IC's.

Same deal with the Bears.

They can very well be kids or maybe adults. But more is going for them being kids.

Well, to me it seems that out of:

Ice climbers

Vegetables

Pterodactyl

Birds

Bears

Seals


4 of those have realistic sizes.

I also showed a lot of boxarts that have nothing to do with how the developers inteded the characters to look.

As I said before, Japanese version is canonical when in doubt.


Furthermore the ingame sprites (namely thier proportions) are only humanly possible with Kids, period.

Also, zoom in on the sprites and look at their faces, especially when they smile.

If there are lots of characters with crazy proportions, and the ICs have never been proven to be adults or kids except with analysis of the original game, then we should just treat them like a disproportionate character is treated: they fight like adults.

Sakurai has NEVER screwed up a characters design.
Not once.

Every character looks like they should in Smash.
The only inconsistencies have been height.

Sakurai doesn't get to make the character's design all willy-nilly. He still has to report to Iwata. If Iwata sees a flaw in the character design, he'd change it.

Nothing was changed in the IC's appearance as it was seen fit to represent how the IC's would look like in a new game. They were displayed as kids.

That proves everything in Ice Climber was horribly scaled to begin with

I know what you're trying to do with the game sprite comparisons...but thats like saying Mario is taller than link because his NES sprite was bigger in his game
