well i dunno. brawl isnt gonna be the exact same as melee just like melee wasn't the exact same as the 64 version. Theres gonna be new techniques, also different characters. noone has mastered a character yet. so yeah pretty much everyone is on the same level that has the basic idea of smash which i think i have.

Tech skill doesn't cross over, but mindgames will, and mindgames > tech skill anyways. If I challenged M2K the day Brawl came out, chances are high that'd he still kick my ***, and hard.

Someone's that put a bit more commitment into something, even just because its very similar.... just usually.. not gonna say it's fact, but in my experience tends to start off on a higher level, just because they're already more comfortable with the process of getting better... and not worrying about a change leveling the playing field...
and... psh.. tech skill > mindgames.

i can recall that after that match you wanted me to face you in a fox ditto and i still beat youmojo, the library is terribly run.

Anyone remember when lain challenged me to a $5 MM, and when I played about 5 friendlies with him and embarrassed his falco AND peach, he didn't want to MM me anymore, and he said his main was REALLY fox.

For those who weren't there when this happened: Kail and I were playing friendlies, and we were trying to mess each other up by trash talking each other, and I accidently called him lain once, so he freaks out and goes "OMG WTF IM NOT LAIN" so with my endless wit I said without missing a beat "well you were playing like garbage so I thought you were for a second".
Kail then set the controller down, laughing, and walked away. He came back a second later, picked up the controller and continued to beat me.
