I actually wasn't too against Carl just on looks alone, but I cannot play Jin, Carl, or Tsubaki after going through story mode. I just can't lend my support to those personalities.

Ragna and Hakumen are kind of bad too.

And, of course, I want to play as Kokonoe and Jubei.

The only characters that really appeal to me as, well, characters are Hazama and Arakune. Everybody else seems to fall into some sort of anime-inspired trope far too easily; those two are a little different. Hazama's intentions are a little more complex than "rule the world" or simple destruction. I enjoy his "troll-ish" demeanor, too. Good to have an enemy that hits his foes below the belt in more ways than one.

Conceptually, Arakune intrigues me; I love tragic figures that go too far in the pursuit of knowledge (Mephistopheles and Faust, King Solomon, etc), and while it was presented in (once again) an anime-inspired way, I have to give him the nod simply on that alone.

XD I'd expand more, but that's just a quick two cents worth.

And he totally goes super saiyan.

Though the fedora isn't as common imo.
Can't think of many anime with them.

Actually, he's not doing it because he's just "evil." He feels that the world has completely gone to **** and its enslaved by the very powers that Rachel serves/rebels against.

It may be similar, sure, but I find it interesting.

She's the only character I can't do bthrow --> 2B, 6A, 2D (lvl3)
but I can do midscreen 2C, 236A~D.
