The "character who would you rather over character" thread

Gonna try this again. Please let this topic work. This topic is for honest purposes of characters you support that may be unpopular. What is a character that you would rather over within the same home series or seemingly rival across a separate series that's unlikely, was almost a newcomer or suffers a certain criteria.

Ok, hear me out. I know its basically fair and all, but I would much rather have Cranky Kong over Dixie Kong.

While Banjo was incredibly long overdo and a much more important pick, I feel like Conker would have been far more interesting.

I'd completely take Wart over Waluigi, but I'd take Waluigi over Toad.

Im not the biggest fan of the artstyle i like only how Link, Zelda, Ganondorf and Midna look
