it's not a matter of whether it works or not, it's the quality. Youtube conversions are ****ty. It's better to find an official mp3 or rip of the song.

It's not been a problem for me, mine sound as good as the in-game music. And for convenience's sake, Youtube is a good central hub to find music. For future reference, though, where would I find "official" mp3 files of a large amount of songs?

There is no place since those songs weren't modified. Go to pf > sound > strm
and place it there by naming it *.brstm where * can be:
X01 - SSBB Main Theme
X02 - Menu 1
X02 - Menu 2
W30 - Menu ( Melee)

I've got some serious volume issues now that I've changed the music on Yoshi's Story. I wanted to try the codes to change volume on the first page but I cannot find a link to a GCT editor that would allow me to inject them. All Google yields is dead links or programs that output txt, which makes it complicated (have to find a converter on top of it). Does anyone have some way to do that ? Am I just looking for the wrong keywords ?

This is the program you need. Place the code on the first page into a .gct named "Code.gct" and take your Project M gct and place them in the same folder and run the program. It'll inject the code into the P:M codeset.

I'm talking about the code with wi-fi set and File Patch Code v3.5.1 NTSC-J. When I installed Project M 2.6, I used riivolution and with some time, I found a way to put my music onto project m. When the japanese version of Project M 3.0 comes out, it didn't have riivolution as one of the options. Then I downloaded No homebrew wi-fi set, which comes with wi-fi set code. If I try to edit gct. file, the gct. file becomes useless, and I don't know why. Also, sorry for the horrible english.

Here's by BRSTM pack. I have download links to all of the individual songs in the link below. If the OP wants to add this, I'd suggest adding the link itself (it's a drive document) rather than posting the songs in a collapse able since I update my custom music rather frequently. My pack is a collection of songs directly from games and some remixes as well. Most of my songs are in an electronic style, but I have a few others here and there. They all loop seamlessly.

E01 [Ending (Yoshi's Story)], E03 [Yoshi's Island], E05 [Flower Field], and E06 [Wildlands] are all self-contained. E02 [Obstacle Course (Summer)] switches to E07 [Obstacle Course (Winter)] during the match.
