Back on topic though, if Ridley was to be revealed as a playable character (or confirmed as a boss), I'd assume he'd be revealed in a big way (no pun intended) so I assume we'll probably get a direct a few days before Japan's release.

I don't think he's really questioning your prediction skills. He's saying that if Ridley isn't disconfirmed this week, then he's playable. Your claim was that he'd be disconfirmed this week. There's no conflict between your statements.

I, on the other hand, flat out stated that there is almost no chance that Ridley will be disconfirmed this week.

if Ridley isn't in, it will be a bit sad, but playing as black or white samus will be cooler in the long run for me.

Just wondering but what if tomorrow's PoTD was a picture of the Pyrosphere with Brawley saying, hey guys Ridley's confirmed for Smash bros... hey wait a second, that model looks old...
Then followed by a picture of Roidley in the exact same stance with no description

That would be hilarious! But seriously that Christian stereotype offends me. Disapproval isn't hate.

Do you guys think we'll get a direct this week? I'm guessing if we do it'll be on Thursday, maybe Wednesday. Maybe Sakurai will have to reveal a few leaked characters, I hope they won't steal Ridley's spotlight, but they probably would.

Just gonna weigh in on him being officially deconfirmed this week... I doubt he will be just because pyrosphere is a wii u stage and they'll prob focus on 3ds stuff this next week.

I'm still wondering why anyone actually cares what shokio thinks about Ridley at this point. Even if he's confirmed, shokio's probably going to just going to comment on how us Ridley supporters were just lucky and how Rildley wasn't a good choice.(Calling it now.)

He's gonna be confirmed or deconfirmed in only one week now anyway. What difference is a few days after all this time?

Next Monday Sakurai's gonna reveal the full roster will be available only when the Wii U version launches.
