So to get this somewhat on track again with a decent discussion:

What music would you want to play on the Pyrosphere stage besides the obvious Ridley theme from Other M?

I'd personally love Lower Norfair's music on it, not only because it'd be a great fit, but because it's my favorite piece of Metroid music.

Two classics from the original game/Zero Mission, 'Kraid's Lair' (aka 'Brinstar Depths') and 'Ridley's Lair'. Also the Nightmare boss theme.

Well if there's one song that needs to be in a Metroid lava stage, it's Magmoor Caverns!. It's a very fitting theme if you ask me. And maybe Alinos as well.

Though it's not related to Ridley or Norfair, a remasterd version of the theme that plays in the red soil area (near Kraid's area) of Super Metroid would be awesome in my opinion.

Considering Magmoor Caverns is but an updated version of Lower Norfair I can't say I disagree in the slightest

I know it was in the last Smash Bros. and has nothing to do with Ridley, but the Parasite Queen is probably my favorite Metroid theme.

Omega Ridley's theme
A combination of Super Metroid's Norfair and Lower Norfair.

Imo, some of the characters that are already included in smash are too small.
A Ridley that is slighty bigger than Bowser, fighting Mario - no problem.
A Ridley that is slighty bigger than Bowser, fighting Olimar - a bit of a problem.

Meaning, It's not Ridley's fault - it's the small characters' fault !

I don't really care whether he'd be **** tier or not, I never choose characters based on tiers, in fact the majority of my Brawl mains are bottom tier. Only exception to this is not playing Meta Knight unless it's Project M or BBrawl since he's too OP otherwise.

I'd be very furious if they ****ed him up that badly animation-wise though. Good thing we know they'll do much better than that with Ridley if he's a character.

No way, we'll have 12+ months of over-analyzing every picture and figuring out his moveset, not to mention drooling over Ridley finally being playable in Smash. I really just want him to be revealed as soon as possible and be relieved that the battle is finally over. Revealing him last would also be a very underwhelming last reveal for the Japanese audience, better to save K. Rool or Mewtwo for that.

Still yeah, I don't understand why there is so much talk about that second hole, it's not possible to see it in game and that's not the one in which Ridley escape in Metroid Other M.

That would be the first one, look at the cutscene after the Ridley fight in Other M and you'll see that Ridley use fire against it before he go starfox style and barrel roll into it, right now Ridley didn't do it.

Knowing this and the fact that the bridge is destroyed, we can assume that the battle in SSB4 is supposed to be at the same time than the Ridley boss battle in Other M, but there's two things missing it's that the case.

Of course, Samus isn't there, she is a playable character, but where is Ridley at this point ?He should be flying around the stage or on the stage itself attacking the players.Well with all the pictures we had so far we can also assume that he is not here so yeah, no stage hazard Ridley.

Boss fights and assist trophies not having been confirmed for this game so far that leave us with two options for now :
-First is that there is no Ridley appearance in that game which would be strange with the fact knowing that this is Ridley's stage, at the moment of his Boss fight and the "he could appear at any second now" comment, but it's not completly impossible as we have seen with Norfair in Brawl, even if Ridley did appear elsewhere in that game.

-Or that Ridley is playable, this would explain why he haven't appeared so far and would allow a fight with Ridley at the same moment than in Metroid Other M.

With Ridley possibly or likely being deconfirmed again, I wonder what'll be worse for people at this point; the fact he still won't be playable in the game, or dealing with detractors cheering and trolling (as Anomilus put it) about his exclusion in others' faces again (so to speak), somewhere down the line? Needless to say, that's something fans of any deconfirmed character has to deal with thanks to sycophants and the like, but in Ridley's case I'm sure there will be worse treatment from the haters.

Not that that's going to demoralize me now, but ya know.

I suppose another or real question of issue is whether a new Metroid will actually be revealed sometime by that point, if worse comes to worse.
