Still think it makes the most sense for him to have great speed while airborne/gliding, while somewhere from medium to somewhat slow speed while on the ground, but whatever floats people's boats. And I guess it makes sense for him to have at least one special that has a little start-up lag depending on how powerful it is, but two or more is kinda overdoing it IMO. Your moveset's still okay though.

I totally agree every char needs a move that can get them outta a tight spot.

Like bowser suffers from getting hit so fast like a punchbag because hes so slow...but whirling fortress on the ground helps ALOTTT!!!

Actually I agree that his air move properties should be faster than his ground movement, it makes sense. I think the fireball would be very interesting as it would make a great way to get in and pressure and to keep out, I also think its fair due to its slow startup and the fact only one can be sent out and it does disappear eventually when traveling to far.

Yea. Kind of like combo breakers in games like Mortal Kombat. Sure, you get your **** slapped, but you can knock them away with one attack and then you can try to go on the offensive. This would be a pretty decent idea

Yeah i see ridley having a slow ground game with tilts and a monster in air. This character just has so much potential.

JigglyPuff is considered the king of air in brawl. Ridley shall be his king.
Also all his forms can be color changes. Not changing his shape, just color. Like neo Ridley he turns blackish blue purple. Meta, more black with orange wing membrane and a grey chest. You get the idea.

I think Sm4sh in General should Make All chars fighting style more have more ephasis/depth.

All Flying Chars should feel like ''Damn this char is good in the air his moves/movement is better''

And not just be a char with wings making Flying chars just have better/easier way/chance to make it back on to stage just because they have wings and can fly..

Ridley in the air should have as fast and effective combos as Metaknight on the ground.

And Majority of his moves on the ground should feel limited and weak knockback like Mewtwo in melee.

Pretty Slow walking and dashing/run

But in the air be fast agile to follow up aerial combos some sorta dash/run feature in the air i think Flying chars should Have!

Speaking rhetorically, why do all new members speak as if they are on FaceBook or texting someone?
But a good recovery is implied with wings. Charizard only had I think three jumps and his up special sucked. But I think he would have a fast dash, his wings could assist him in dashing. He dashs like Meta Knight but his wings flap.
I think his ground moves would have strength, with possible sweet spots on smashes and specials, but be slightly slow and avoidable. Similar to ZSS side special. Maybe with a tail though.

The Other M and Fusion Ridleys are the only clones. Fusion Ridley is actually the corpse of Other M Ridley.

Super Metroid is his only real death. After metroid, he survived by regrowing himself using flesh of humans and space pirates. When he become meta and omega, he didnt actually die, just survived and came back organic after his phazon was destroyed. And yeah Fusion is just the other m corpse, which was the only clone.

Meta Ridley is a cyborg Ridley.

There is no "Mecha" Ridley. The thing you're thinking about is the Ridley Robot, which was an incomplete robot made by Ridley in his likeness.

Considering that the concept for the Ridley Robot was made after Prime was completed, it is illogical to call it a prototype based on concept art that wasn't made final years prior.

My bad. I meant to put the Prime Trilogy.
An interesting thought, for a final smash, all the forms of ridley could appear and perform an attack. Meta, Normal, Neo, Omega, and Robot.

Just because it hasn't surfaced until Trilogy doesn't mean it didn't exist. Kind of like Meta Knight's concept art of being a red butterfly winged knight being shown in the Kirby's 20th Anniversary Celebration book.

True. Shame that it hasn't been referenced anywhere else. Maybe if all characters get an alternate appearance in Smash like PTE does, Meta Knight could have his concept design?

Most characters have different versions of themselves besides their normal version.Like ridleys forms, or samus's armors,or K.Rool's different forms.
So having those as alternate outfits would be awesome. But some, like DK obviously, have never changed forms, so different outfits for some characters might be rejected because the majority of the roster won't have alternate versions.

Still think someone as resourceful and adaptable at surviving as Ridley (even after defeat or near-death) would or should be able to find a nearby corpse that Samus killed on her way to him or something to rejuvenate himself (or at least partly rejuvenate), and then get off of Zebes before it exploded. I mean out of all the times he's been beaten by Samus before (Prime trilogy included where he had an altered body), why does Super Metroid have to be the game to mark his official death?

Started of as a small thing but as people keep bringing it up everywhere and now i look at it more it really would be a massive cool thing to have...and that is

But i guess it would take a long time to implement and give the devs mindgrains to back track each chars history to see there Different costumes they have had..

Ultimatly i see them just poorly designing them too then people would moan about how stupid and un-original Mewtwo's Armor costume is compared to how it looked in the
anime..but nor being greatful to the devs for actually going out there way and doing the idea that no one thought/expected they would do..

Long story short..

I think his fireball should be like super metroid 3-4 fast fireballs.

As much as people hated otherM if ridley is playable in Sm4sh that game is sin-free and forgiven bkus if he is playable for sure his moveset and style/appearence would be based of his otherM style.

Although kinda hurts/stings that it was a clone ridley in other m so he will be based of
a clone of himself..Also that out of his long legacy of appereances him will be based of the most hated metroid and not a iconic one...but that most hated metroid game opened Ridley up more then any other metroid has ever did.

I have been waiting over 11 years for Ridley. If I can wait 11 years, you can wait six more months. We very likely won't hear any more details about Smash 4 until E3 2013, which is in the middle of June.

If Sakurai does decide to show off 3-5 newcomers for Smash 4 at E3 2013, Ridley will most likely be one of them.

Thinking about him, how awesome he would be, and how much he deserves in, has convinced me to throw in my support for him.
