Interesting scrapped Zygarde lore from the ongoing gigaleak

In the original plans for a Pokemon Z that never came to be, Zygarde would have two 100% forms. Depending on whether it was fighting Xerneas or Yveltal.

For Xerneas it would become a large wolf or cat (it seems they hadn’t decided on which yet), changing it’s body to resemble a predator that would hunt deer.

For Yveltal it would become a bipedal humanoid with limbs that could function as a rifle, transforming into a hunter that specializes in flying prey.

Zygarde’s forms are set in stone now, but I wonder if we could see any remnants of these concepts in ZA.

RAAAAAAAAAAH I love Valmont and Riya so much??? Like Evil Love has always been one of my biggest kryptonites, you have these two gigantic jerks - one (Valmont) mostly caring about money and the other (Riya) mostly caring about fame. But in my mind they are the only things that would melt one another's icy hearts and they just become the BIGGEST sappy sweethearts. I can picture them doing all kinds of sappy romantic stuff that villains might do. They'd do their best to mess with everyone around them while stealing kisses from another and making the rest of the Dark Hand cringe. And when they're being cute and domestic??? GOSH it kills me, like, I picture Riya tickling Valmont a LOT and because he loves her so much he 100% lets her do it when he'd kill anyone else who even tried that on him. Evil love is just the peakest peak to ever peak and I'll never get enough of it as long as I live and ValRiya is the PERFECT example of the evil love I adore most. Being a crossover ship, though, it kills me inside that I'll never get to see any art of Darling Riya and Vali-Val (these would be their nicknames for each other) being evilly in love. Oh well. Ranting about it to unlucky strangers on the internet will do nicely.

Hey don't worry, if I ship something you can assume that I always picture them at their healthiest form. I detest enemies-to-lovers and tsundere crud unless it's done really well (Duncan and Courtney from Total Drama for example). So pretty much all my ships are just peak sweetness - no matter how evil the two shipped individuals are.

I double checke today and i didnt see him sitting outside when I got back from feeding the other cats.

How would you feel if Nintendo got FromSoftware to make a Metroid game with them?

It could work but as it is now? Idk, Dread's movement was easily one of the most enjoyable things I've experienced that whole year, FromSoft's general M.O is weighty controls which fits the Prime series more but those games need a more... Casual vibe, for lack of a better word. Personally, I prefer my Metroid games more fast paced and would rather have the Dread team make even better games from this point on, especially after Raven Beak gave me one of the best boss fights ever

Looking at the current forms, Complete Zygarde is pretty much the Y form as it's a humanoid and its attacks do use its limbs on the back to attack with blasts. Though, I wouldn't be surprised if it was touched up to make it feel more of an all-powerful form once they decided to drop it sharing the role. X form I'm guessing could've been changed to 10% as it is a canine, but if so that one probably went through more changes as I'm guessing if it was meant to be on par with 100% in terms of power it would've had a more complex and imposing design than just a green Doberman.

If so, I could see some of the dropped traits from either/both forms get brought back into a new Zygarde form that's an even further step up from Complete.

seems that the education career occurred within the past few years…tho it’s hard to tell with Daisy considering the amount of recycled voice clips had for her without having to record something new. However it seems that she’s been a theater person since her school days, so I guess that explains how she’s been able to make Daisy over the top so easily (while also making her better than Peach)

…now I’m seeing that she’s currently got (or used to have) a barista gig as well

Still frustrated that the final era has to have 5 levels when the others all have 4 but I can't get it to work any better. Even if I included the storybook games that would mean one of the eras is only 3 games now. Sonic just doesn't have enough main console games yet.

One minor thing that surprised me with PLA is that they didn't make the camps/settlements across the lands into mini towns and stuff.

I really need to play Legends Arceus. I've had a copy of it for quite a while.

Problem is my frequently busy schedule and already having a considerable backlog of other games. I need to beat Pikmin 4, think I want to beat Spyro Reignited next after that, and maybe Pokemon Violet as well. Along with that, I also want to start Metroid Dread.

Other than that, I guess I'll just start picking games I haven't yet played at random. Some of them are gifts, so I feel bad for not getting to starting them up sooner.
