Maybe he needs to observe them long enough to successfully copy their data. With an all out war going on, there might be not enough time to gather sufficient data.

Besides, Metal getting Bowser and even Kamak's abilities might enough to give him power to surpass Bowser's army. We can all agree that Metal is the Wild card that part of Eggman's high rank generals.

I mean, it took chaos emerald powered telekinesis and a special portal making gem to cure the metal virus in the sonic comics. I don’t know if that’s something bowser can replicate.

Magic from kamak, Dreamstone (wish granting), and/or star rod (wish granting) could fix that. Mario powerups seems to have more accessability that can counter most of sonic's powerups blow for blow.

Also hot take but as an adult, I do not think a Mario and Sonic crossover could ever really be as good as anyone expects, Mario games lack the sauce Sonic games have that make them so fun to figure out but Sonic games lack the polish and finetuning that make Mario games so tightly designed. Like, Nintendo patches out exploits or skips people find while Sega tends to keeps that in or even make it a feature

Oh, seeing as I got that JP collector's edition of Sonadow Gens on Switch, I realized something neat, the game case is actually different depending on the region, my EU ones were made from like, a different mold. I don't have any US Switch games so I don't know what those are like, but I do happen to have all 3 regions of DS games and all 3 are made with different plastics, with the US ones being surprisingly difficult to open

It depends. The Mario universe has a variety of stupidly powerful magic macguffins like gif related.

Bowser's as strong as the plot demands him to be. Sometimes he dies to simple fall damage. Othertimes, he somehow withstands a supernova that destroys an entire galaxy.

I mean I guess the same can be said for Eggman, they never did explain how he was able to leave the void in Generations.

I like to imagine it had something to do with the Phantom Ruby since Classic Eggman’s next plan involved it and Modern Eggman only had one more scheme before he used it.

I forgot to mention this when I was talking about Miraculous Peak-dybug earlier, but in a lot of ways it reminds me of tokusatsu/Sentai series, even more than the magical girl anime it takes inspiration from. Like, recruiting a bunch teenagers (with attitude) to battle insanely cool supervillains gathered by an overarching force of evil? TELL me that isn't just Super Sentai/Power Rangers in France.

Spoiler: Ranking Eggman lackeys

Snively: Classic double crossing henchman. Between the cartoon and the Archie comic he was around for a while, which allowed a lot of fun character development and dynamics with Eggman.

Scratch & Grounder: Comedy gold. Not the most complex minions but definitely the funniest. We need these guys back.

Orbot & Cubot: I have more of a soft spot for these guys than most because my first game was Colors, but they’re fine. Occasionally amusing, largely inoffensive.

Bocoe & Decoe: There’s nothing bad about these guys but there’s nothing really good about them either. Completely forgettable.

Sleet & Dingo: These two suck, just like everything else in Sonic Underground. Except the theme song of course.

Bowser vs Eggman is gonna be close, but I feel like Bowser takes it in the end.

Eggman’s made some powerful robots and his armada could probably nuke the entire Koopa Troop, but the reason I’m leaning Bowser is simple: Fury Bowser.

It’s been shown that for as tough as Robotnik’s inventions can get, he can’t handle gods (or beings with god-like powers). Perfect Chaos, Solaris, Dark Gaia, The End, he couldn’t beat any of them. Fury Bowser’s destructive capabilities are immense, he’s nigh-invulnerable, and he’s pretty much Godzilla. I bet he could tank a missile barrage like it was nothing.

If it weren’t for Fury Bowser, Eggman would probably win. But unless he can get his hands on a Giga Cat Bell, I think Bowser wins in the end.

Now Super Sonic could probably kick Fury Bowser’s ass, but he’s not who we’re talking about here

I feel like it depends, is it just hand to hand Bowser vs Eggman? Then Bowser destroys him easy.

But if we include their machinery, powerups, and armies... then it gets pretty close. Bowser could eek one out but Metal Sonic and Infinite would definitely give them some trouble.

After watching this video, I'd be rooting for Eggman but expecting Bowser to win the Death Battle.

Out of all of Bowser's minions, I didn't think King Boo would be the biggest problem Eggman would to deal as he doesn't have many options to counter the ghost.
Infinite could fight fight off King Boo, but this is Infinite we're talking about here.
