I remember liking his Star vs .Video and a few jokes in his Steven Universe video, but uhh, that's about it because even the latter had some major problems.

I used to like a few of his So This is Basically videos back when the series was a bit newer, but he's long since basically devolved into being yet another channel in the tired trend of "Sarcastic critic uses jokes and memes to **** on something they don't like".

His voice feels like it's perpetually stuck in the early 10s, it's so grating and the fact that he still uses it in 2024 makes for an uncanny viewing experience on top of being unpleasant. The sheer malice of the video doesn't help

There’s been a lot of rumors regarding the Game Awards. In particular I’ve seen people think that a certain developer can count to 3.

Even if the Switch 2 is announced, I will watch anime instead.

Oh and minor note here TF2’s Smissmas update is here.

I'm still hoping Tetris 2 (known as Tetris Flash in Japan) will come to NSO later down the road.

I will not believe Half-life 3 is real until it is on my Hard Drive and I am playing it

Still don't believe Alyx is real, I haven't played it because VR is an expensive gimmick.

I still need to think what to get my parents but I'm pretty much done otherwise.

I got the following for my family:
  • A lenticular Majora's Mask poster for my twin brother and for his wife a Final Fantasy VII piano sheet book
  • A Batman fact book for my older brother and for his wife two The Nightmare Before Christmas items (enamel pin and clip light)
  • A medical pack for my little brother
  • Toys for my dog and nephew

Good news:
Bad news: It's still heavily designed around VR but you'll still be able to play it from beginning to end

I am fully aware of this mod, I just am not playing it because I've heard it is is a terrible way to experience the game for the first time.

Just opened a few Christmas/birthday presents early since my brother is heading back to Austin, Texas tomorrow morning.
I got a LEGO Bumblebee set, the Book of Bill, and Persona 5 Tactica.
Still got plenty more presents under the tree and my birthday is less than 8 days away.

It might help to read what has been translated of the 1980s story and watch the OVA first, as the Manga combines the two and greatly expands upon them. The English OVA Dub isn't great, the VAs sound better as time goes on, but it's still a fun ride thanks to the animation and set pieces.

Probably the one, the snippets we saw of it in the reveal at least seemed interesting as it shows there's cool setpieces like the GUN chopper exploding and we saw multiple pathways in a splitsecond clip which lets you run up walls. I should replay the base game stages to get back into the grip of things and to see if the game's still peak after the honeymoon period
