It’s eerily similar to WiiU after Wii. Nintendo is really going to have to prove to us why we should not think Switch 2 is just another upgraded Switch. There better be some killer games. WiiU had a crazy ton of new features but next to no system seller games.

Idk if anything will compare to the Wii U, at least this uses a naming scheme people fundamentally understand with Switch 2 instead of a quirky letter

there are plans for a Jaleco/City Connection one and a Piko Interactive one. The Atari one also has the 2600 version of Pac-Man.

One thing I'd like to see is a Pokemon game that brings the main focus upon the Lake Guardian trio. Pokemon that hold the torch for much of this world's knowledge, emotion AND willpower is such a cool idea.

As good as Legends Arceus was, I found it odd how it gave Mespirit and Azelf something of a mean streak (not as much Uxie) when they're generally heroic and helped humanity and Pokemon-kind build their very spirit! I'd like a game that shows how their benevolent guidance helps heroes emerge.

My idea was this: Pokemon Legends: Nameless Cavern. Named for the location where you find the trio in the Gen III remakes, it's set in Hoenn, and takes a Sonic-esque route of having three separate stories with different protagonists and end goals. Two Pokemon are set default members for each storyline, with one being a 'main partner' who can be played with and use special moves like in Let's Go.

• Mespirit's route is the 'easy mode'. Your set two team members are a Feebas, your main partner who will evolve into Milotic at high friendship not so long in, and a Fennekin. This route has you meet and become friends with Lisia, and has a sidequest based around partaking in Contests. But be careful! There are people out there who want to take advantage of your climb to fame to further mysterious goals.
• Azelf's route is the default 'medium mode'. Your set two team members are a Beautifly and a Bulbasaur. This is essentially Pokemon Emerald remade, with an end goal of finding the Super-Ancient Pokemon before the villain teams can, and fighting in the World Championship.
• Uxie's route is the 'hard mode', and my hope is that it'll end up as something as an introduction to competitive battling, introducing stronger movesets and item loadouts. Your set two team members are a Bagon and a Popplio. In this story the gym battles are harder as your player character has a dark background, making the trainers around the region determined to strike him down, and Uxie will help him discover his true feelings on who he is - and who he's meant to be.

After all three stories are cleared, a final story is introduced. The real villain of the story steps in and reveals dark plans for the world's future, and all three protagonists and the Guardians guiding them rush to the Nameless Cavern, where the three Guardians merge together to reveal their true form!

I'm trying not to make things I look forward to this year not big deals because I end up placing unrealistic expectations on them and end up disappointed. It's probably better to try and give yourself small rewards every once in a while.

I'm trying to get a leave of absence approved but my doctor still hasn't signed the paperwork I sent her like she said she would and it's overdue as is, and I'm not sure I have much fight left in me to keep pestering for it.

Fixed up a Purore Pikachu Clone!

This one's based on the Calabrian black squirrel. Hope I could make it different enough from Pachirisu, and I hope sharing a type with the Paldea pikas doesn't stick out too much.

So we're all familiar with the Pikachu-Meowth rivalry, right? Tale as old as time - the friendly heroic mouse against the mean evil cat. Well, I decided to take a funky twist on this. What if the electric rodent was the oppressor and the Meowth is merely trying to survive?

The Persian mentioned in the Dex entry felt no ill will towards Kirashismu when it hunted its parents - it was merely looking for food after all - but the Kirashismu held onto that hate to the grave, and passed it down to its descendants. Kirashismu run on hate towards the Purore Meowth line, living solely to hunt and kill them by any means necessary. It fights HARD and strong - hence the Fighting type - but is so consumed by its hate for its feline rival that it essentially ends up as cold, hateful and cruel unless they can be tamed by a trainer. Pikachu clones are usually entirely heroic - with the worst you really get being individual Mimikyu sometimes getting a little crazy from jealousy or how hangry Morpeko can get - so I really liked the idea of flipping the script and making a downright MEAN Pikaclone.

Ok. So in one of Arlo’s recent videos he’s talking about all the switch 2 leaks and rumors he missed over Christmas. And the very last thing he talks about is a fake switch 2 feature demonstration video that, over time, starts including language that Nintendo wouldn’t use and then completely devolves into… and then he stops talking. Obviously he can’t say what it devolved into for algorithmic reasons but my particular strain of mental illness will not stop thinking about this until I know what it is. And surprisingly, this fake video is pretty hard to find just from googling “fake switch 2 video devolves into blank”.

Do any if you guys know what he was talking about? If it has to be answered in PMs than pm me.
